Nancys idea

We all sit around Nancy as she tells us what she saw when she was in Vecna's trance. 

"He showed me things that haven't happened yet, the most awful things. I saw a dark cloud spreading over Hawkin's downtown on fire and this giant creature with a gaping mouth and this creature wasn't alone, there were so many monsters, an army and they were coming into Hawkins, our neighborhood, our homes. And then he showed me my mom, and holly, and mike. They were all," she can't finish her sentence, she just cries.

He is just trying to fuck with her head, make her go crazy.

"Nance, he is getting in your head. To fuck with you." 

She shakes her head and breathes in, "but there was something else. He showed me gates, four gates, spreading across Hawkins and these gates they looked like the one in (Y/n) house but they didn't stop growing and this wasn't the upside down Hawkins. This was our Hawkins."

Eddie wraps his arm around me and I put my head on his shoulder while looking down. 

"Four chimes. Vecna's clock always chimes four times. Four exactly," I look up at everyone, "he has been telling us his plan the whole time."

"Four kills," Lucas says and looks at me "four gates."

"If that's true, he's only one kill away," Dustin says as everyone looks at me.

Eddie puts his face in his hands, "oh Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ."

I kiss his head and Steve tells Max to try and call Mike again but it keeps going across as busy. 

"Something wrong, I just know it. But Vecna cant get them, not if he's dead. We have to go back into the upside down." 

We all say no and I sigh while Steve starts to get up while protesting.

"Lets think this through, okay? We barely made it out of there in one peace!"

"We weren't prepared! But this time, we will get protection and weapons. We'll go through the gate and we will find his lair and kill him.

Steve Robin and Nancy start going back and forth on how we are going to kill Vecna. I sigh and look between them.

"We don't know when or who Vecna is going to attack," Robin says and I shake my head.

"We know who. I can still feel him. I'm still marked, cursed. I ditch Metallica, he will come back to me and boom you have a distraction. I know how I can hold him off, I've done it before. This just means I can't go into the upside down with you guys," Eddie moves so we are face to face, he stares at me in shock and disappointment."

"Babe, he'll kill you."

I shake my head, "I have survived before. I can do it again."

"When he is distracted then you can go into the attic and kill him. Shot him to death, drive a stake through his heart, blow him up, chop his head off, I do not care. Just please, please don't miss."
