A Happy Ending For Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory
It has been 24 long years since Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell became Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard and she had been married to Lord Andrew Charles Howard for 24 years.
It was a marriage of conveniences and necessity, and she has done her duty to Lord Andrew Charles Howard and given him his five children with no regrets.
The time has come when she walks into his study in 2299 and she tells him " I am divorcing you. I have done my duty toward your family and your Dukedoms are secure."
"I have given your four daughters and Lady Theresa has given you a daughter and I have given you two sons and you have seven children." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Our marriage has been nothing less than a masquerade and a Faust and I won't put up with anymore." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"Lord Richard William Carey and I love each other and no one will stand in our way this time. We will marry each other." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Our children deserve a mother and father and I will take Lady Albert, Lady Sophia Dorothea,Lord Benjamin and Lady Karissa with me." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Lady Elizabeth, Lady Samhain and Lord Anthony are grown now." Lady Karissa tells him.
"What gives you the idea that I will give you a divorce?" I had to fight to win you and I won't let you go." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"Don't stand in my way, Andrew Charles Howard. I have your kin standing outside waiting to topple you." Lady Karissa tells him.
All of sudden, inside of the door stands Lord Frederick William Howard, Lord Thomas William Howard, Lord Patrick William Howard II and Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and Lord David William Beck Senior all standing behind Lady Karissa and she looks at him" It is in your best interest to sign the document."
Lord Richard William Carey walks in and he tells his first cousin twice removed " Lord Andrew Charles, for your own sake do me a favor and stand aside and let Lady Karissa and I marry as I have loved her from the very first day she arrived on Star Base 12 and Lord Kevin Thomas Riley appears " Andrew Charles. You are deplorable. You can't hold onto someone that doesn't love you."
"I introduced Lady Karissa to your father and Lord Richard William Carey and by your trickery you won Karissa and you turned into someone she didn't want to be." Kevin tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"Stand aside for Karissa and let her be happy now." Kevin tells Lord Andrew Charles.
Lord Thomas William tells his first cousin twice removed, Lord Andrew Charles " You have brought shame to my great-grandfather's name."
"Stand aside for my third cousin, Lord Richard William Carey and if you don't I will personally beat the living crap out of you and have no regrets."Lord Thomas William tells him.
What else can Lord Andrew Charles do but sign the divorce papers and he hands them to Lady Karissa.
Lord Andrew Charles looks at Lady Karissa and asks "Why Karissa Why?"
"Lord Andrew Charles. I have done my duty and fulfilled my promise to you with Lord Anthony, Lord Albert Edward and Lady Elizabeth. Your Dukedoms are secure." Lady Karissa tells him.
"You are not lacking for heirs or heiresses." Lady Karissa tells him.
"I have given you 24 years of my life." Lady Karissa explains, "Now I want to share the rest of my life with Lord Richard William Carey by my side and our two children, Lady Caroline Matilda who is nearly grown, but Lord Benjamin Lawrence has a while to go." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Lord Anthony and Lady Alexandrina will be married at the same time that Lord Richard William Carey and I will marry each in June of 2300.
"We will be married on June 21, and Lord Anthony will turn 20 years old, Lady Caroline Matilda will be 18 years old and Lord Richard William will be 55 years old and I will be 50 years old." Lady Karissa explains.
"Lady Elizabeth will take care of you." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles as will Lord Anthony."
"Lady Anastasia has a place for you out in Northampton Territory and I think you need to take time to get to know her. She is a wonderful young lady." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Lady Samhain has a place for you out at Clarence Territory as long as I am alive you will always have a place at Beltane Manor." Lady Karissa tells him.
