HIIIIIII GUYZZZZ
So I'm sorry for the wait again, I just have so much going on right now, and I have no time to write. So here is a chapter for y'all, I hope you like it, and I made a visual for you to look at to see what the kids Batgirl and Robin uniforms would look like.
Shoutout to @band_lovers364 because I had 37 notifications and they were basically all from them :) it made my day, so thank you!!!! This is going to be a different sort of chapter, comment what you think at the end!!!"Now can I trust you two to behave while you're patrolling? This is the first time I haven't been with you-"
Denver rolled her eyes as she placed the mask over her face. "C'mon Daddy, we've got this! Besides, Dick's 13 and I'm almost 12, and together our ages make a 24 year old person."
Bruce sighed softly as Dick walked up, his black and yellow cape flapping as he approached. "I think we can handle this Bruce. We've been training for months, and this isn't the first time we've gone patrolling alone."
Bruce walked to where the BatBikes (as Denver had named them) were parked and grabbed a helmet for each child. "If anything goes wrong, you know what to do right? And don't use your real names while you're-"
Denver snatched her helmet and grabbed the key for her bike. "Yeah, yeah Batgirl and Robin, don't say Denver and Dick, blah blah blah blah." She ducked as Bruce tried to ruffle her hair, laughter filling the cave. "Listen," Denver said as she and Dick mounted their bikes, preparing to patrol the streets of Gotham. "Batman can go have 'fun' at the Justice League meeting, while Batgirl and Robin go party in the streets of Gotham. Now if you'll excuse me..." She started up the engine and placed the matching purple helmet onto her head.
Dick walked past Bruce, "don't worry, I'll keep her on point," and got on his bike, then the two rode off, leaving Bruce alone.

"Is there any more word on Tony Zucco?" Clark asked Bruce, as other heads turned in the direction of the Daddy Bat. "Or is his gang still up to no good?"
Bruce shifted in his seat. "I haven't seen anything, but Dick's been handling that-"
Clark almost jumped out of his chair. "Wait, you have Dick working on this?"
"Yeah, what's wrong with that?" Bruce shrugged his shoulders.
"Bruce! He's just a kid!" Clark argued, getting a head shake from other members of the JL, such as Green Lantern (I'm sorry I just went brain dead and can't think of a real names) and Hawkman. "Crime fighting is not for children! Don't you agree Barry?"
Barry Allen, also the Flash, shifted in his seat uncomfortably. "Well...."
"Don't tell me you're in on this too!"
Barry bit his lip and looked at the floor. "My nephew Wally has been, accompanying me when he has the chance."
"Unbelievable." Clark scoffed, and turned back to Bruce. "I suppose Denver, your own daughter- who is 11, mind you- is in on this too?!"
"She's almost 12," Bruce argued back. "And yes, she's got a mask."
Clark shook his finger at Barry. "How long have you had a sidekick-or a side kid- helping you?"
Barry put his hands in the air. "In my defense I got a sidekick after Batgirl and Robin made their debut. And Wally's 15, he's not 11 like Denver is."
"Denver has a partner, and Dick is 13." Bruce commented. "It's not like I'm sending them out alone or unprepared, they have both trained for months-"
Clark slammed his fist and yelled, "you can't have a bunch of kids doing what you have them doing! They're going to get hurt!"
No one said anything until Oliver Queen, Green Arrow, murmured, "if they won't step up, to protect their cities and innocent people, then who will?"
~~~~~~
"So what do you think the meetings about?" Denver filled the silence as the two sidekicks sat on a high buildings roof. "I mean, why do they need meetings when they work together all the time?"
Dick shrugged and continued to look around the city. "I dunno, probably what villains doing what and what kind of coffee is the best tasting."
Denver played with her grappling hook and sighed. "I need some action, you know what I mean?"
Dick nodded and looked around. "I don't see anything, maybe we should go over there," he pointed at a nearby building and took out his grappling gun. Pointing it to where he wanted, the line shot out and Dick flee threw the sky like a bird, with Denver close behind. When both kids where in the building, Dick asked Denver if he could ask her something.
"Yeah, anything." Denver replied to her almost-adopted brother.
Dick looked off into the distance when he asked, "do you remember your mom?"
Denver flinched the slightest bit, but sighed, "no. She left when I was really little, and I've never seen a picture of her before. Dad doesn't like to talk about it." She could feel the tension grow, when a flicker caught her gaze. "What's that?" She asked as a alarm went off.
Dick was ready to jump off using his grappling gun when he said, "someone's robbing the bank, so stereotypical."
Denver could feel the cape behind her flap as she and Dick sailed gracefully down to the ground. "Do we know who it is?" Denver asked as Dick peered into the bank.
"Captain Cold," he muttered, "but it looks like he's alone. We can take him!" Then Batgirl and Robin charged into the bank, taking Captain Cold by surprise.
"Hands in the air Cold," demanded Dick, looking as intimidating as possible in his Robin attire. "And we'll go easy on you."
A sneer and chuckle were released from the villain. "What, the Big Bat can't come get me himself? What a shame that is-"
The captain was interrupted when a yellow flash went by, and soon surrounding the criminal. After seconds, the crook was sitting in the floor tied up and gagged. "What on earth?" Denver started.
"Yo, what are you two short stacks doing here?" Came a voice. The two Bats turned around to see a teenage kid clad in a yellow Flash suit standing before them.
Dick opened his mouth but was interrupted by the sass master of the two. "We we're just taking out the cities garbage, what are you doing here?"
The teen crossed his arms and pointed at Cold. "Whoa whoa whoa, this is my villain, and I'm doing what I need to do. Aren't you guys Batboy and Birdgirl?"
Denver walked right up to the new stranger and poked him hard in the chest. "Batgirl and Robin you idiot, and who are you of I might ask?"
The kid laughed and pushed Denver aside. "Kid Flash, and cute little mask." He mockingly flicked a bat ear on her mask and got his hand slapped away.
"Hey hey hey hey hey!" Dick came up between the two. "Would you two stop?"
"At least I don't look like a mustard packet!" Denver shot back. "And what kind of name is Kid Flash? Are you 5 or something?"
The guy now known as Kid Flash was about to raise his voice at Denver, when a dark shadow covered the floor. "That's enough you two," came a deep voice, and Denver shrunk back, knwo in who's voice it was.
"Batgirl," Batman said. "I'd like you and Robin to meet Kid Flash," he started, when another adult came into view.
There in all his glory was the actual Flash, who walked up and put one hand on Kid Flashes shoulder. "My nephew," he finished.
