Chapter 17- First Day at Vidcon

*Skye's POV*
The next morning we got up super earlier... Well early for me I guess. It was 9am when I woke up, oh god I thought, I only have an hour until Jack comes! I quickly jumped up out of bed, and jumped in the shower. By the time I had jumped out of the shower and done my hair into waterfall braids, it was 9.45 and I hadn't thought about what I was going to wear. After about 5 minutes of looking through my suitcase I settled for jeans, a plain blue T-shirt and a baggy black jumper.

I quickly ran downstairs and grabbed a pancake that was on the side... I guess Evie had made breakfast. Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
"I'LL GET IT" I heard Evie shout.

"OK" I yelled back walking towards the front door to see who was there. It was 9.55am and I doubted Jack was early.

"Who's at the door?" I asked, as I walked around the corner to see the door still open.

"Oh that's right you two haven't met yet... Skye this is Nathan, Nathan this is my best friend and roommate Skye. " she replied introducing us. In front of me I saw a average looking guy, he had dark brown hair styled neatly into a quiff and was wearing jeans, along with a buttoned down red shirt which almost looked pink. 'he looks nice but it's a little gay looking for a straight guy; but I won't mention that to Evie she would freak and say how much they love each other'. I let the thought slide, he seemed alright and I could see why Evie liked him.

"Nice to meet you Nathan," I said shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you too Skye" he replied.

"Hey Skye" I heard a voice say I looked past Nathan to see Jack standing there.

"Hey Jack" I said happily "Oh you to haven't met either Jack this is Evie, Evie this is Jack"

"EVIE..." Jack yelled through gritted teeth "Devil Bot Evil is real!, everybody run" he joked but Evie didn't seem to get it, which made the atmosphere really... Awkward.

"So... Erm...why don't you two come in for a minuet, while we grab our stuff and then we can head off," I said awkwardly breaking the scilence before, I ran off to get my things, I didn't wait for an answer. Me and evie quickly grabbed our stuff and ran back down stairs.

"You ready to go?" Jack asked me and Evie.

"Yeah let's go this is going to be so much fun!" I exclaimed happily.

We drove to the convention centre, we would have got Jack to drive since he was the oldest, but he can't drive so Evie decided to drive. Evie likes driving anyway. We got to the convention centre and stood near the entrance was Mark, Bob, Wade, Pewdiepie and Ken (cinnamon toast Ken).

"Hey Evie I will catch up with you later" I said as I started walking over to the gamers with Jack.

"Ok see you later" she replied and walked inside with Nathan.
