Chapter 4 - The Arrival

As the plane landed, I thought I was dreaming I could not believe that we were actually in America! These next few weeks were going to be the best three weeks of our lives and hopefully we will gain some more fans along the way but right now I HAD to get off the plane! It took about 10 minutes until we were let off and as soon as we were out i sighed with relief... Im not the best with tight spaces!

"Finally we are out of that stuffy plane, where's the food at?!" I said to Evie happily

"Well there's a Subway over there if you want, it's only 10am though"

"I know I know but you should know me by now" I laughed

"I do, trust me haha. Go on go get your Subway, I will find a seat for us and see if they have any Wi-Fi"

Evie sat down at a table not too far away from the doors where we had to go out to collect our bags, I couldn't wait to get our bags and get out into the fresh American air ..... And then back into a car again to drive to the hotel we would be staying at for a while. It's only a short drive so it shouldn't be too bad.

I got my Subway and started walking over to where Evie was sat I could see that she was concentrating on her phone, that's either a really good sign or a really bad one. She looked up at me and smiled, I knew that smile that was the smile telling me that she wanted to say something!

"Spill the beans then Evie..." I said to her

She said to me "well basically our tweets have been blowing up, loads of people have commented saying that they have bought tickets to Vidcon just to see us! Everyone is being so nice, it's amazing to see how many people have said that they can't wait to meet us or at least see us!!!! Check your Twitter"

"Okay okay I will just give me 5 mins to eat my Subway and then we can go get our bags and whilst we are waiting i will check it"

"Okay well hurry up then we can't waste any more time, we have places to go, things to do and people to meet!" pestered Evie.

"Yes, yes I get it, I get it" I said sarcastically.

I scoffed down my food and we started walking towards the doors. Our bags were the last to get out of the plane *rolls eyes* but that meant that I had more time to look at what was happening on Twitter, Evie was right!!!! There were so many nice comments about our fans wanting to meet us. I swear if I could've replied to all of them I would've. It might've taken me our whole holiday but I seriously wish I could!

"You were right" I said to Evie "I cannot believe this, it's amazing!"

"I know right" she exclaimed "come on let's go!"

We turned and walked away with our bags, I could already tell that this was going to be an awesome trip. I was still scrolling through the comments when Evie started tapping my arm and I heard someone shout:

"THERE THEY ARE OH MY GOSH WE LOVE YOU!!!!" I looked behind me to see who she was talking about but then wondered it it was us. Everything became clear when I saw around 15 teenage girls holding signs up that said "EVIE AND SKYE WE LOVE YOU GUYS"

"Is this real" I whispered to Evie

"I cannot believe it. But yes, yes it is Skye" she said and pinched me, she then proceeded to walk over to some of the girls. They had pictures of us that they wanted us to sign. I saw Evie get out her camera to do a vlog and then said "Hey Skye, remember that camera you parents bought you for your birthday... Now might be a god time to use it"

I quickly scrummaged through my handbag to find my camera and started vlogging, im not really used to doing it so I just turned the camera at the fans as some of them chanted our names. I pressed the record button and said " So, hey guys I don't usually do this but I just couldn't believe it when I saw these girls waiting just for us at the airport, you guys are seriously amazing!" I walked closer to them so that you could see their faces and turned the camera around so you could see me and all of them. "Thank you guys for coming out here today, what would you think if I said I might do some more vlogs over this holiday?" They screamed "so I will take that as a yes then aha"

I turned off my camera and started signing books, posters, t-shirts you name it. All of them were so nice, I could see Evie still vlogging but at the same time taking selfies with the fans and then she glanced my way and shouted
" WHO WANTS A GROUP SELFIE OF SKYE, ME AND ALL OF YOU GUYS" I swear every single one of them shouted yes. So we did that and posted it on Twitter and Instagram, then some of the other girls wanted individual selfies with us so we did that and by the time we had done all of that we had been there for like 45 minutes!! So we said goodbye and they waved us off.

"I LOVE YOU OUR BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN FANS" Evie shouted at them as we walked away, she is so weird sometimes but I think this had not made her hour or her day but her whole entire life! Yay!

Soon enough we reached the car, packed all of our stuff into it, turned the radio on and drove off to our hotel!
