The Hospital

Skye's POV
The last thing I remember is that girl asking Jack if the girl he saw earlier (aka. Me) was his girlfriend... Then I woke up here...

In the hospital with all of these cords connected to me. The first thing I tried to do was get up but I couldn't as all of the cords coming out of me were holding me down... A nurse obviously saw me struggling and got a doctor to come in and calm me down. He told me what had happened and said that I had only woken up now (the next day)

He said that there was a boy in the waiting room who had been waiting here since I was rushed to the hospital and had been chewing his fingernails and refused to go home until he saw me...

"Should I let him in?" The doctor asked

I nodded not able to say anything as there was a contraption helping me breath normally..

He told Jack that he could see me and before he could even finish his sentence as quick as a flash he was sitting beside my bed holding my hand.

"I Stayed up all night waiting incase you woke up... I wanted to be one of the first faces you saw"

I started to pull off the mask that was helping me breath but gently pulled it back  down and said "shh no no don't do that... The more you have it on the faster you will get out of here" I gave him a small smile and he went on to talk about what happened after I fainted...

"After you fainted I tried to wake you up but you wouldn't" he said "then the paramedics also tried and you weren't having none of it" that made me laugh.. He carried on "I heard them say you had a small epileptic fit from all of the bright lights and a panic/anxiety attack at the same time which made you faint"

Soon enough the doctor came back into the room and checked the monitor to see if I was breathing normally he said to me "you seem to be breathing at a normal pace now, do you want to take the mask off and just put it to the side, but if you  need it please use it..." i took the mask off and placed it on the beside table next to me. the doctor left the room after saying that he would be back in 10 minutes to see if i could be released or not. The first thing i said was

"im sorry Jack"

"what for?" he asked

"for making your life a hell of a lot more complicated since i arrived... first the memory loss and now this!? i understand if you want to date someone who's normal" i said trying to hold back tears

he got hold of my hand again and squeezed it gently whilst saying "i don't want to date anyone else other than you Skye, i love you" he then lent over and kissed me.... we hadn't kissed before... his lips were soft and perfect. I was sad when he pulled away so i said

"hmmmm i think im getting better" I smiled cheekily at him and he knew what i was trying to say

"oh so if i did this" he kissed me again "you would feel even better"

"yep" i said happily "but i think that i would be out of here in no time if it coincidentally happened once more"

"well okay" he said innocently "anything to help you get better faster" he winked at me and kissed me once more and this time was even better than the last.. it was a deep kiss, it was perfect and i could feel sparks flying around the room.

"why thank you for helping me Doctor McLoughlin" i said to him

"my pleasure Miss Hart any time"

The doctor strolled back into the room  and said

"well i think that you are able to go home, just sign these forms please and you will be on your way" he handed me the forms and a pen. I signed them and looked at jack, our eyes met and he laughed slightly... I knew what he was thinking.

The doctor took out all of the cords out of my body and Jack handed me some fresh clothes to go and put on. I hugged him and then went into the bathroom and changed.... I checked my phone to see if I had any messages and I did have a ton from Evie:

Evie:
"Omg I just heard about what happened I am so sorry that I'm not with you right now they won't let me leave because your not family"

"You have no idea how much I just want to punch that security guy in the face right now" - that one made me laugh, I really love how supportive she is and I understand why she wasn't there... Plus I'm sorta glad that she wasn't or else I wouldn't of had my moment with Jack <3

"I just got a text from Jack saying that you are coming home! I will see you there, I love you sis xxxx" - she calls me sis all the time when she texts me.. I love it tbh cus she really has been like a sister to me

I decided to text her back
"Hey Evie I'm okay now don't worry! Jack is taking me home and I don't want to sound rude but
A- I kinda know your at joes house because of my sisterly instincts ;)
B- I sorta just want to spend some time with Jack
We kissed :) but I will tell you more later...
Loves ya x"

About 2 minutes later she replied
"Yay I'm so glad to hear that you are better now! Your right I am at joes ;) and ooooooh girly getting it onnnnn jks jks love you too see you at like 8pm?"

I checked my phone, it was 10am so that's good... I walked out of the bathroom and Jack quickly got up and linked my arm through his as if to help me walk. I was still pretty weak so I did need him there to support me...

We got out into the parking lot where jacks car was and he opened the door for me,

"Such a gentleman" I laughed

"That's right m'lady" he said in his adorable Irish accent, I was getting used to his accent but in some words I could still hear it and it gave me butterfly's.

As we were driving back to the house he said "now missy you are going to take it easy for a few days! I am leaving on Friday so in 3 days but until then I will be over everyday at some point to make sure that you aren't doing anything too drastic!" He winked at me and I laughed

"Okay okay whatever you say doctor" I joked

After a few minutes of silence (not the awkward kind but the really good kind the one that you both sort of know that it's good and not bad?) I said "I don't want you to leave Jack" with a sad look on my face

"I know you don't baby and neither do I but my flights booked and I have to go to a meeting on the Saturday afternoon" he said to me softly "I will see you on the day after you get back though okay?"

"Okayyyyyy" I huffed

"I will miss you Skye"

"I will miss you to Jack"

He put one hand on my knee and kept the other on the steering wheel as we pulled up to my house. He raced out of the car and round to my door to open it for me, he helped me walk into the living room and I sat down to watch Once Upon A Time. (that's Evie and I's favourite show)

"Come and watch with me" I said to Jack patting the seat next to me, he sat down and slung his arm over my shoulder as I rested my head on his chest

"Skye?" He asked me

"Yes?" I yawned

"Will you go on a date with me? When we get back to the UK but still?"

"Of course I would love to" I said playing it cool but really in the inside I was squealing like a 6 year old in a sweet shop.... :D

We spent the rest of the night just watching TV and throwing popcorn into each other's mouths. Jack left just as Skye was coming in... He had kissed me just before he got of he couch and the feeling still lingered on my lips...

Evie came in and asked for all the details so I told her and then she decided she wanted Chinese food so she ordered some and we talked about everything that had happened and what was going to happen until we both fell asleep on the couch....
