Jumyeon casually walks along the hallway, making his way to the monarch's room as she asked for him to talk about something important. As he slowly reach it, he spots Kai, who just left the room.

He sees the confidant coming and he respectfully bows, "Sir," he greets.

"How is it?"

"All better now," the young necromancer smiles, "You should go in, she's waiting for you." he bows one more time before he finally takes his leave quietly.

He then enters the room, sees Lisa standing by the window, only wearing a black tank top, showing the exposed tattoos on her arm and on the side of her neck. She takes a sip on her her drink, probably a whiskey and glances at him for a short while before looking back at the window.

"Is there a problem?"

She shakes her head, "Yes, kinda." she truthfully replies, "Before I say anything, I'm gonna need you to calm down."

He raises suspicion, "That actually depends on what you're going to say,"

Lisa sighs and faces him, no expression. "I had a talk with that vampire of a queen, just earlier today," she stated, "She told me you made it clear that the deal you had with her was just specifically pointed at her, is that true?"

He hesitantly nods.

"Why?"

"She was on a rampage, I had to tell her off."

Lisa bites the inside of her cheeks, "Well, we just had another, with more risks." she takes another drink and looks at him straight in the eyes, "I called you here to put you in charge for the time being,"

"You didn't do anything stupid, did you?"

"I did, in exchange of peace,"

"And that is?"

"I agreed to be 'hers',"

Jumyeon couldn't believe what he just heard, he wants to be mad but all he felt was confusion. He never took for someone who would accept such thing, she never liked being bossed around. Why did she accept that deal all of a sudden? Specially from the enemy?

Lisa looks at him blankly, "Got nothing to say?"

"I have, trust me, I just don't understand why you would do that."

"You know, Suho, I'm tired of killing vampires and we don't even achieve anything from it. We just kill, no progress, they still hunt for them."

"You can't just trust her,"

"I don't," she says, "I'm just looking for ways to protect humans and this is the only option I currently have."

"You know we have,"

"Like what? Kill all of them?" Lisa shakes her head and stares at their symbol tattooed in her hand, "They're more powerful than us, we only managed to attack them when we fooled their dog. They're stronger, bigger, we would lose."

The confidant puts his hands on his waist, questioning everything. He's definitely not happy about this, he's worried the vampires would only break their deal and do something to her in the end. He couldn't accept it.

He looks at his leader, "Are you sure about this?" he shakes his head.

The images of the vampire's deep red eyes staring at her own flashes in her head. She takes another drink and think of a plan, she's not just doing it for free.

They're not going to get things so easily.

"No, not really,"
