Chapter 7

A loud commotion interrupts the quiet mansion, attracting everyone's attention. The dhampirs went to see what's going on, curiously and see a group of hunters barging in like they want something from them. One is a tall man, a woman chewing a gum, a little younger guy and one has a weird looking eyes.

Jungkook, who's currently talking with the others, approached the visitors with a smug on his face. He stands before the hunters' leader, who's giving him the same look.

"Can I help you?" he asks.

The hunter looks around and speaks, "Is it just us or Lisa is nowhere to be found?" he asks calmly and sighs, "People are asking where she is and I couldn't give them a proper answer since even I myself don't know."

Jungkook shrugs, "You won't get anything from me either, Rowoon."

A loud thud made them flinch, he looks to see the girl popping her gum hitting the floor with her nailed bat. She glares at him, "Hey, don't talk to him like that," she says.

The dhampir scoffs, "I don't really care about what you say, weirdo." he replies.

"You-"

"It's okay, Soyeon. I'll handle this," the guy with two different eye color interrupted her while putting a hand on her shoulder.

Soyeon is known to be the 'psychopath' hunter as she's always been obsessed to unalive vampires, playing them like her personal dolls. She was too brutal with it that the vampires have quite avoided her too much now.

He steps towards Jungkook and meet him in the eyes, the same ones his one eye has.

"Listen here, Kook, we only need to know where Lisa is, we didn't come here to fight. It's just we can't keep lying to people, telling them lies about her whereabouts when we don't even know the truth,"

Jungkook shakes his head, "Win, I don't know where she is. Trust me, none of us do."

"Are you sure you don't or you're just trying to hide your girlfriend for some reason?"

He turns to the one with blonde hair, "What did you say?" he attempted to come closer but Winwin stopped him.

Rowoon taps him on his chest, "Keep quiet, Hyunjin. We don't need that attitude right now, do we?" he says casually but with a hint of threat. The young man only gazes at him without saying any more word and looks away in complete annoyance.

Winwin clears his throat, trying to clear the tension between them. He knows Hyunjin hates the vampires and dhampirs a lot and always encounter a problem with them even though they're practically allies that go against the vampires.

He knows it as Hyunjin hates him the same.

"Can we talk to Jumyeon?" he asks Jungkook.

"I don't know where he is,"

Rowoon pushes Winwin at his back and faced the dhampir himself, "Jumyeon knows where she is, I need to talk to him." he says, almost in command.

Jungkook is starting to lose his patience, not liking how pushy and desperate they are when he himself don't know the answer to the same question they have.

"He's not here,"

They all turn to the voice, seeing Jisoo walking towards their direction with a blank expression written on her face.

"He left somewhere we don't know, so we can't give you any answer. Might as well leave,"

Winwin sighs and clicks his tongue silently. He taps Rowoon on his shoulder, signaling him to leave. Hyunjin walks away first, not caring about anything, followed by Soyeon who just rolled her eyes in Jisoo's remark. The remaining hunters shared a glance before Winwin soon leaves defeated.
