"Going somewhere?"
Jisoo turns around and sees Jumyeon holding a cup of coffee in his hand, stirring it gently with a spoon. It is still somehow early and she's out here preparing to spy on the vampires, which is her job, hoping she could get a little information about Lisa.
He cleared his throat, "Why are you going this early? The sun hasn't even rose," he gestured to the dawn sky outside.
She shakes her head, "This is the only time that I could possibly encounter a vampire lurking around, I could get some news about Lisa if I manage to corner one." she replies as she ties her boots.
"Right, Lisa."
"Heard from her?"
Jumyeon sighs, "No, nothing,"
Jisoo chuckles, "Why didn't you stop her?" she looks at him, "You know you can,"
He gives her a glance, "I tried but the deal was already made, she knows it herself that it would cost her life even more if she didn't oblige," he explains and smiled, "She's strong, I know she can handle them enough."
She shrugs her shoulders and stands up, tying her hair into ponytail. "Yeah, I'll believe you," she mumbles before walking out the mansion and ran towards the forest, leaving him there alone.
She's been worrying about her friend since the day she was gone. They have no idea how would they able to contact her, they have no ways, even the smartest man in their team doesn't have any plans, as he firmly believes Lisa can do pretty much everything and escape from there alive.
But that's not the only problem she has, it was Lisa being with the enemy the whole time is what makes her paranoid. It's impossible that they don't try hurting her or kill her, Lisa is the biggest threat for the vampires and she's there, living with them.
It's almost ridiculous.
Jisoo makes her way to the border of Chonju, the vampires' territory, and hides on top of the trees. She tries to sneak into the nearest spot where she could see a small glimpse of the dead town, hoping she could see any sign of her friend being alive.
When suddenly, she heard a snap of a twig from behind, she quickly turns and see a vampire staring at her from the ground.
Blonde hair, yellow eyes.
That scent...have I met her before?
"If you're trying to eavesdrop, you're doing a terrible job." the vampire says.
Oh, it's her.
Jisoo chuckles, "How's your shoulder? Let me guess, it left a scar, hasn't it?"
Rosé.
The vampire's eyebrows furrowed, "No wonder I hate your presence," she mutters bitterly, realizing she was the one who gauzed her shoulder when they attacked their lair. "I guess you're here for Lisa," she adds and runs her hand though her blonde locks.
"Yes, I am." Jisoo jumps down, meeting the vampire eye to eye. "Have you killed her yet?"
She shrugs, "I almost did,"
The brown haired woman squints her eyes, "You?"
"Mhhmm. I almost killed her if only Je-" she mutters and paused before she could even finish. She knows it's not gonna turn out well if she somehow spilled something she shouldn't to the enemy.
That was close.
Rosé clears her throat, "You should go, before the others find out there's a pureblood dhampir around here," she starts walking out.
