Nothing looks more satisfying than watching the sun set in peace, behind the white clouds and orange sky. It has been every single person's favorite view to stare at, to admire.

But in Lisa's case, she only watches the sunset when she's having problems she doesn't know how to solve. Things that are inevitable.

With the hunters starting to get suspicious with her arrival and the possible danger after the vampires makes her preoccupied, searching for ways how will they be able to avoid the hunters attacking them and possibly kill them.

It felt like she was responsible.

"Fan of sunsets?"

A too familiar voice behind interrupts her train of thoughts, which she knows belonged to Jennie.

Lisa sighs, "No, not really," she turns her head and sees the vampire walking to her side, leaning to the cobbled balcony. "What are you doing here?"

The brunette purses her lips and tugs her robe, the silk robe that she just randomly found in the dhampir's closet, "Do you expect me to just sulk in your room for a whole day?" she rolls her eyes and watches the people outside, "How do you not get bored here? It feels like I'm in the church,"

"Your idea of 'fun' involves killing people,"

"Not just that,"

Lisa turns to her.

"Sex too,"

The dhampir could only shake her head in disbelief like she can't believe she just heard that. "Sweet mother of god..." she mumbles, earning a soft chuckle from Jennie, "Can you just-I don't know, leave me alone? I fucked big time and the hunters can barge in the door anytime and I don't have any plans to-"

Jennie clicks her tongue, "Are you seriously worried about those minions? We...are here to bring more power, in case you can't hold them off." she says and glances at the blonde, "I'm not saying you're weak but those stupid hunters can pursuade mortals to fight alongside them if they find out that...you indeed brought vampires here and betrayed your own people."

Lisa exhales heavily and faces Jennie, "And that's exactly why I don't want the hunters to know. If mortals get involved, in order to stop them, we have to kill them." she swallows, "And that's the last thing I want to happen,"

The vampire scoffs and looks back at the dhampir, "They're just humans, half breed, they're not that special," she mutters, "Besides, them fighting against you is also them betraying you. You have been protecting their asses for more than your lives have lasted and turning their backs on you will just make them all bunch of assholes,"

"Got any idea?"

Jennie crosses her arms, "Just one thing," she clears her throat, "I'll kill anyone who's on my way, even if it was my kind, or yours or humans. I'm not a softhearted child like you,"

The dhampir breathes and stares at now darkening sky, understanding what the woman next to her said. She just can't help but worry about humans, dhampirs and well, vampires. She just feel like protecting everyone around her, everyone that lives under the same roof as her.

But if she does Jennie's way, she's not any better than her. She'll be a monster like her and she doesn't want that.

Never again.

She promised that to herself.

Lisa wanted to confront the vampire, to defend herself by addressing her as a softhearted child but something else came out of her mouth.

"Why do you hate humans so much?"

There was a pause, a short silence between them and a small tension building up around them. Jennie stare at nowhere, just straight up ahead but then Lisa spoke again.
