The moon was shining brightly above the dark clouds, it was a perfect view for everyone to see, to admire and appreciate how beautiful it was. There are people outside their homes, some are walking to their houses from their jobs, neighbors talking to one another, cars moving past to one. Just a normal and fun town.
There are hunters and dhampirs guarding the city in every corner, making sure that people are safe under their security.
Beneath the sea of people, a hooded figure suspiciously walks with their head down, not letting a single pair of eyes spot their face. They eyed a hunter roaming alone, looked around before they take the opportunity to grab the hunter's arm, covering his mouth with their hand and takes them to a more secluded place where no one else could see them.
The clueless hunter created a muffled scream before he managed to break off from the culprit. He draws his dagger to the person's neck and looks at them seriously, trying to guess who it was.
"Put your hood down," he commands.
The mysterious person raised both of their hands and slowly reach for the hood to pull it down, revealing their identity to the poor hunter.
His eyebrows met in disbelief, realizing who it was and quickly withdraws his weapon back to his pockets. "I'm surprised to see you here in flesh, are you here for good or just paying your sweet brother a visit again?" he asks.
"Winwin,"
"Lisa,"
The dhampir sighs and looks to see if there are somebody around then looks back at him, "Kai told me you found something," she stated with a ceased forehead, "What is it?"
Winwin stares at her and pressed his lips together, "I did find something," he clenched his fist, "And...I need answers from you, I need explanations..."
"Win, can I see what it is?"
He hesitated, arguing with his inner thoughts whether to show to her or not. He may or may not holding an important piece in a puzzle, that if he losts it, he wouldn't be able to find more of it ever again and no one else can too.
Lisa reaches to touch his wrist, "Please, I'll tell you everything, just let me-"
The hunter groans and took a piece of small envelope from his pouch then handed it to her without saying anything. She looks at his face before she takes it from him and slowly opens it with care. Winwin just watched her silently as she finally sees what was inside.
Her eyes flutter in confusion, "W-Where did you..." she paused, "No, have you told anyone about this?" she kept staring at it.
"Nobody knows I have that,"
She blinks, "Why? Any hunter would have gave this to Rowoon and have me arrested," she answers and grips it with her fingers.
Winwin leans his back against the wall and looks down on the floor, "I'd still need more information about it and I know this is not about the dhampirs or us, it's just about you and your past," he replies and turns to her, "Am I right?"
The dhampir clenched her jaw.
"Now can you please, tell me, why do you have a picture with Kai's father when you were young?"
[ FLASHBACK ]
"We heard a report that you were seen with Lisa yesterday, here in this exact same place of yours."
"Was she really here, Kai? Do you have any contact with her?"
Winwin enters a room, which he assumed was Kai's and starts looking around. He has no intention to destroy or mess with his things, he only wants to find a single sign of Lisa being here.
