It had only been a couple of hours, and the sky is about to darken, since the mansion was interrupted with a worried mother looking for her only daughter. Seulgi and others haven't come back yet, which is really not a good sign, considering there are more than ten of them who went and look for for the girl.
There is a huge chance that the kid didn't survive, wherever she is right now.
As much as Jennie hates to admit it, there are a lot of reasons why that young age missing won't be coming back home alive, she have seen enough like that and she knows better. When there are children who were missing back then, they would find corpses or just bones.
It was impossible.
She walks on the halls, looking for Lisa. She haven't seen her for hours now, not after that encounter with her in the rooftop.
"It's my fault,"
Jennie wondered what she could possibly mean by that, if she was blaming for herself for her disappearance and mad at herself for not being able to protect her considering she was fond of her.
Either that.
Or it was a confession.
She shakes her head, denying that last thought in her head, she can't possibly think Lisa was capable of killing an innocent child or atleast hurt one. She hates violence against children and women, just like her, and the chances of her murdering one is down to negative zero.
There's just no way.
Her feet brought her to the backyard, where she sees the rest of the dhampirs...and vampires watching two people spar in the middle. Her curiosity drove her to come and watch the show, standing near Jumyeon, away from them.
Everyone was there, surprisingly, even Jungkook who was shooting her a glare. She ignored him and crosses her arms to watch the two dhampirs throw punches and kicks to each other.
Jennie clears her throat, "Have you seen her somewhere?" she asks the dhampir next to her.
"She'll be here any moment," he answered, "She never missed one of these ever, she'll show up from whatever place she has been, you have my word,"
She finds Rosé standing there, with Jisoo behind her and wondered when did these two suddenly become friends. She shakes her head and puts all her attention back to the dhampirs sparring, "I've been wondering..." she speaks, "If you don't mind me asking,"
Jumyeon puts his hands in his pockets, "Go on,"
Ask him.
"How did you meet Lisa?"
He nodded his head calmly, "That's an interesting question, nobody has ever asked me that," he says and glanced at her, "Is there a reason why you're asking me this?"
"Just curious," she shrugs.
He takes a deep breath, "Well, we met a hundred years ago, I was around 22 years old. Some vampire barged in my home, that vampire was too...aggressive and the reason why I lost my eye," he says, catching her off guard and looked away, "She came and made the vampire disappear, I don't know if she killed it but I've never seen that vampire again,"
"Was she already your leader when that happened?"
"Just about to, she replaced the king the next day, I became her adviser, right hand and used the same home where I was attacked as the safe house for the half breeds,"
