It's been a year since Emily won her very first Nationals and things have changed a lot throughout the past year. Scott and Martha remarried and Martha moves back in with Scott and Emily, and Emily couldn't be anymore happier to have both parents in her life.

Sky and Paige got married and had an amazing fairytale-like wedding. Derek and Emily gets to perform a dance at wedding reception and so did Sky and Paige, as they start a new chapter in their lives. Gen and Juliet still remain friends with Emily, and both girls are travelling around the world on a dance tour. Emily however, didn't join them on tour and stays in New York.

Emily soon moves out of the apartment, as she is ready to be independent and moves in with Derek, at his apartment. Emily felt sad at first, because of leaving the place that she called home, but is yet happy and excited to start a new life with Derek and get to be independent in life.

Today, it's Christmas Day and Derek's family travels from London to New York to spend Christmas with them and meet Emily's family for the first time. Derek and Emily host a Christmas Party at their apartment and invite both of their families, where both families meet for the first time and sharing a drink together.

After exchanging gifts, Derek's sister Harper gets ready to sing a Christmas song in front of everyone. "Tonight, I wanna sing this amazing Christmas song for all of you guys, to say Merry Christmas.", Harper smiled, as her father plays the piano from behind and Harper starts singing a Christmas classic, Silent Night

As Harper sang, Derek and Emily sways to the song with a smile and looks at each other, before Derek kisses her head. "Merry Christmas, Derek.", Emily sighed. "Merry Christmas, Emily.", Derek smiled, as they both rest their foreheads together, as Harper continues to sing all the way, getting everyone into the Christmas spirit and from that moment, Emily knew she had it all...
