Strictly Dancing: A New Generation

Off to London

A month later, things have changed a lot. Sky propose to Paige and they're now happily engaged. Scott starts dating again, and went on dates with different women from Tinder, but none of them is his type. 

Gen and Juliet decide to open their own business and plans on opening a dancing shop, selling dancing products. Derek and Emily's relationship remains strong and went on many dates together, such as going to the movies, going on a day trip and going to an amusement park. 

Their love is stronger as ever and they couldn't any more happier. One day, Derek drives Emily home after dancing lessons. "Thanks for the ride.", Emily smiled. "You're welcome.", Derek replied. "I'll see you again tomorrow?", Emily asked. "Yeah!", Derek smiled, as Emily leans over to kiss him. 

After giving him a kiss, Emily is about to get out of Derek's car, but he stops her for a second. "Em, hold on. There's something I want to ask you.", Derek replied. "Okay, what is it?", Emily asked. "Well, I'm flying back home to London to visit my family this weekend and I was wondering if you want to come with me.", Derek replied. 

Emily is surprised by this. "Fly to London with you?", Emily asked. "Sure, I want you to meet my family and they want to meet you too. They've been dying to meet you.", Derek replied. "Okay, I would to meet your family.", Emily smiled. "So you'll go?", Derek asked. "Yes, I'll go!", Emily smiled. 

"I'll buy you a plane ticket and we'll be flying on Friday night, so no dance lessons this Friday.", Derek replied. "Ok, sounds great, I'll let my dad and Uncle Sky know about this.", Emily smiled. "I already told Sky and he's total fine with it. But you have to tell your dad.", Derek smiled. 

"I will, oh and my dad's coming home from work soon and he asked me to invite you over for dinner tonight.", Emily replied. "Oh, ok. I'm down for it.", Derek smiled. "Great, let's go and start getting dinner ready.", Emily smiled, as she and Derek head up to her apartment and they start cooking dinner together, before Scott arrives home from work. 

Half an hour later, Scott returns home. "I'm home!", Scott called out. "Hey, Dad!", Emily smiled. "Hello, Scott.", Derek greeted. "Hi, Derek. Nice of you to join us for dinner.", Scott smiled. "Thanks for the invite.", Derek replied. Scott greets Emily with a kiss on the forehead and a hug. "What is my little girl cooking for me tonight?", Scott asked. 

"Dad, Derek's also cooking as well, and we're cooking lasagna, your favourite.", Emily smiled. "Ooh, can't wait!", Scott smiled, as he leaves the kitchen. After cooking, Derek, Emily and Scott have dinner at the dining table and Scott ask Derek so many questions, and Derek tries to answer most of them as much as he can.

After dinner, Scott resumes his work in his studies, while Derek and Emily clean the dishes together in the kitchen. "I'm so sorry about my dad, asking you these silly questions.", Emily replied. "No, it's fine. It's embarrassing, but it's kinda funny.", Derek smiled. "I hope it wouldn't be like that when I meet your parents.", Emily smiled. 

"I don't know about that. Because my mum may ask you some embarrassing questions too.", Derek smiled, which makes Emily's smile drop. That night, Emily talks to Scott about going to London with Derek and Scott eventually allows her to go, which delights both her and Derek. A week later, Derek and Emily flies to London, to visit Derek's family. 

Upon arrival, they both took a taxi cab from the airport, and head to Derek's family house. The taxi drove all over the city of London. "Welcome to London, Em.", Derek smiled, as he's happy to be back home. 

Emily looks outside the window and look at the buildings and attractions of London, such as the London Bridge, the London Eye, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, where the Queen of England lives. Emily has never seen anything like this in her life, and enjoying the whole view of the city.
