Eddie stared at himself in the mirror, staring himself down in the full-length reflective glass. He ditched the leather jacket, just had the vest with a baggy kiss shirt under it that had the sleeves cut off. His pants were tight leather pants, and for once he was going to a party for fun– or more so the alcohol. Gareth had invited him, but per usual he thought that Eddie would reject the offer. But this time, he said he'd consider it.he added a pant chain and of course his bandanna in his back pocket. The hanky code was stupid but ingenius to eddie, he loved the idea that mainly queer people knew about it and that meant he could possibly get some dick, but most people didnt like the color black. He still wore it though, in hopes someone would see it there.

He glanced at his watch and decided it would be a good time to leave. He said goodbye to his uncle, promising he'd be home around 1 am.

He arrived shortly, it was only a few streets away from his trailer, which was good so if worse came to worst he could walk back home. Something inside him wished Steve would be at the party, he'd only been to a few of king steves parties and they were pretty good.. Plus his parents bed was really comfortable to handcuff someone to, apparently. He let himself in, knowing if he knocked no one would have heard.

The place was packed, playing loud 80s rock that seemed to vibrate through your chest. It was louder than a pantera concert, which surprised eddie. He pushed through people, in search of gareth, who seemed to be the only one he knew there. But before he found Gareth, he actually ran into Mike at the makeshift bar. When Eddie caught sight of him, Mike almost tried to cover his face with his solo cup. Eddie laughed, glad to at least find someone he knew.

“Hey!” He shouted, the music was so loud he could barely hear himself even yelling. Mike waved.

“WHat are you doing here!? I thought you didn't like parties?” Mike asked, and Eddie shrugged.

“I thought freshmen didn't get invited to parties!?” Eddie replied, getting a small laugh out of mike. Mike was like a little brother for Eddie, and so was dustin. He could see it now; the future of hellfire in their hands. Those boys were some of the most devoted DnD players in the group, he knew one of them deserved the title of dungeon master. “Seriously, how'd you get in!?”

“Through lucas.” Eddie's heart dropped.

“Holy shit- is this Jason's party?” He asked.

“I think it's patricks, but yeah it's the balls in laundry basket nerds' parties.” Eddie scanned the area, luckily none of the basketball nerds were anywhere in sight.

“To them I'm a dead man.”Eddie said, as the song changed to a much quieter one- whitney hustons‘i wanna dance with somebody’. Now luckily, they didn't have to shout to hear each other.

“What did you do?”Mike asked.

“Oh y'know, just tried to sell chrissy drugs because she asked for them. I swear I get within 10 feet of her and Jason gets all defensive. I don't even like her like that!- i don't like-”

“Girls?” Dustin interjects, laughing.

“Yeah.” It was no secret, and Eddie wasn't ashamed to admit it to anybody. Even the homophobes and bigots.he gave Dustin a small hug, deciding to go get a solo cup of cheap beer. It was natty light, possibly the worst and cheapest beer they could have bought. And while yes, beer is expensive, they could have gotten the next best thing.
