Soon enough, everyone was laughing, high off their asses while Argyle was telling stories. Eddie was rolling a joint since he was the most experienced in rolling, and steve was staring at the ceiling with a stupid smile on his face. He passed it to Jonathan who thanked him.

“Whoa, has Steve ever.. Been high before?” Argyle asked, gesturing on how he was leant against Eddie now, grabbing his arm weakly. “Because he is shmacked right now.”

“Well- I had figured he had because of his parties but I never bothered to ask.” Eddie replied, snapping in front of Steve's face. “Stevie, love.” He said. “Steeeeve.” Steve opened his eyes and looked at his boyfriend, smiling.

“Eddie.” He said, a stupid smile on hiis face.

“Hi.” Eddie replied, as his boyfriend leaned back on his shoulder.

“Steve, have you- have you smoked before this?” He asked, and Steve giggled.

“Can I tell you a secret?” he asked, leaning near Eddie's ear. “I did it once in freshman year.” He said, continuing to giggle.

“Are you two like- a thing?” Jonathan asks.

“Well-” Eddie went to explain before Steve cut him off.

“Yes, because Eddie is pretty..” Steve said, smirking. “And his tattoos are really hot. I really like them. I like the ones on your thighs.” Robin laughed at his friend's straight-forward answer, which caught even Eddie off- guard. He blushed and looked away.

“Aw man that's cool, I believe in loving whoever you wanna love.” Argyle said, smiling. Eddie nodded.

“Yeah. me and him have kissed before.” Jonathan admitted, pointing to argyle. “While high. It's a long story.”

“Yeah man it was in the back of my van too. Then we fell asleep like 10 minutes later.” Argyle continued. “We’re just friends though. It was more of a learning experience.”

“Wait- robin you seem to be handling yourself well, you've been high before?” Eddie asked and she laughed.

“When I was living in Oregon, my parents weren't really very good at… parenting? So my friends and I were left unsupervised a lot. I remember one of my friends brought weed and we went into the middle of nowhere behind my house, and smoked. I think I was like- 11 at the time? I was relatively young. I smoked when I lived in oregon. Then- when I moved here I hated it so yeah, i smoked too.” She explains. Eddie nods. He glanced down to check on Steve, who was curling up against eddie.

“Hey, steve..” Jonathan said, carefully poking him to get him to open his eyes. “Bud, you can take my bed, yeah? I can go stay on the couch in Will's room.” Jonathan said, and it took Steve a second to process what Jonathan said. He nodded softly, and Eddie helped him up, laying down with him.

“I'm staying with him so he doesn't freak out or something.” Eddie explained, sitting next to him on the uncomfortable motel bed. Jonathan nodded as Steve pulled the covers over him and Eddie, and hugged him.

“You're warm.” Steve comments.

“Is that a good thing or a bad thing?” He asked steve.

“Hmm, good. You're my personal heater.” Eddie laughed softly, stroking Steve's back.

“Hey, is there any pizza places open?” Jonathan asked, and argyle shrugged.

“Dominos.” He answered.

“Dont you work at a pizza place?” Robin asked, in reference to the van he drove basically everywhere.

“Yeah, but its only in cali and nevada.” He said, dialing dominos. “What do we want? Pepperoni because you guys are boring or do we wanna go exotic and get hawaiian?” He asked, finally pressing the call button.

“Just get both, i'll pay.” Robin said, pulling out 30 dollars from her back pocket.

“No, don't worry about it.” Jonathan said.

“I insist.” She said, and Jonathan shrugged and took it from her.
