Dear Billy III

*This is the last one, I promise XD The second part I did it because it was not clear that Billy had acquired powers and this part is because my partner asked me hehe She wanted to know the end, could not bear it to stay in the air, so here it is.*

Steve wielded the axe tightly, he had called the demo dogs by the names Billy had told him and they had indeed come at his command. Billy, sitting cross-legged, was still floating blank-eyed in the middle of the room next to the motionless body of Nancy, who was still trapped.

-Steve? What the hell happened, how is Billy in there, what's wrong with Nancy? -Max kept asking

-Max, honestly, this is not the time -Steve mumbled nervously looking out the windows -Billy said to protect the bodies and if he said that, it's because Vecna is going to send the monsters after us.

Billy opened his eyes slowly, he was in a completely dark place, a void, in that same place where other times he had met Eleven while he was possessed. He had to look for Nancy. It was true that he couldn't get her out of that trance that Vecna had put her in, he couldn't open a portal like  the music nor could he drag her out, but he could interact with her the same way he did with Max or like Eleven did with Heather that fateful day.

He concentrated, he had to find Nancy in that void, and it didn't take long. Soon the "reality" she was living appeared around her, she was at the bottom of an empty pool, to be more exact Steve Harrington's pool. Billy was sure because he had spent many nights in that place. Nancy was standing in the middle of the place, she was looking at something horrified, the blond imitated her and found a body sitting among the vines, according to the stories he had been told it must be Barb.

-Wheeler -he spoke softly, but she was too shocked to pay him any attention.

The girl still paid no attention to him, she looked around but didn't seem to see him, surely she must be listening to Vecna's voice, Billy's powers were not strong enough to impose on him; that's why he knew he had to take advantage now, get her to see him no matter what, if Nancy got to Vecna's house, if she got to see him, Billy would have completely lost the game. That was another reason why he didn't show himself to Max, besides he knew that the girl would stay with him or try to get him out by all means, not to mention that she would be suspicious after having seen Vecna with his skin; Billy didn't have enough power to manifest himself physically once the victims had seen Vecna, so he had no choice but to guide her with lights and sounds, scaring her towards the right direction.

But he could show himself to Nancy, she already knew he was there, she knew what had happened, there was no risk in that sense. Besides, Vecna wasn't there, even if she was hearing his voice, so he still had some chance of getting her to see him, he just had to take advantage of a silence from that damned demon. The girl shook her head for a moment and looked around more attentively, at that instant Billy grabbed her shoulders forcing her to look at him, Nancy seemed surprised but also scared to see him.

-Billy...

-Yes, yes, it's me Wheeler.

-How...? Do you have powers?

-When the MindFlayer died, some of his powers stayed with me, like manipulating minds, that's why I can control the demon dogs and that's why I'm able to be here.
