59: Lonely

Angel POV

I ran to the nearest bus stop and console myself. I'm back to being alone here, all I'll have is Heejin. That can be good enough for me, I didn't come here for Sunghoon oppa, I came here for a better opportunity and I'll get one. On my way home I turned my phone off just watching the outside pass me by while I was in the bus.

I slowly unlock my door and close it then prop myself against it. That is where I spend my night crying my heart out, I just didn't understand him. I knew it wasn't my fault, I believe I did everything to be a girlfriend. Even if I wasn't I'm sure he wouldn't tell me. Is it bad that I still like him even after all this? Sunghoon oppa is still on my mind when I wake up for school today. I miss waking up with him pestering me with kisses.

Sunghoon did not sleep almost at all last night, he even drove to Angel's apartment to take her to school out of habit. (She didn't come to his car) He has the ugliest red baggy eyes and Sanbin and Haime make sure to let him know. "Hyung, why do you look like a train wreck on drugs?"

Sunghoon glares at him but doesn't say anything "Where's Angel?" Haime asks and his eyes water, he wished people would stop asking him that "And why are you're eyes puffy? Did she move back?" Haime says raising her voice at the end and before Sunghoon could respond Sanbin beat him to it.

"No she didn't, She's right there" He puts to her and calls for her. She looks at them with a precious smile that Sunghoon so wished was for him like it used to be. When she does make eye contact with him, she looks away quickly dragging Heejin with her.

Sunghoon starts sniffling catching the attention of his two best friends. "Why is Angel acting~" Sanbin is interrupted by Haime smacking him in the head. "They broke up, idiot!" She whispers and he rubs his head slowly nodding.

With Angel

"Why aren't we sitting Sunghoon and Sanbin oppa and Haime Unnie today, Angel?" Heejin ask her not expecting the answer she got. "Me and Sunghoon oppa broke up yesterday" Angel says and Heejin gasps. "You liar! Why?!!" "Ask him about it yourself" Angel says as they go find a new table to sit at.

"Anyways, enough of that" Angel starts but Heejin continues "Don't be sad, Angel, you should get over him quickly. I have good news" Angel laughs at the other girl. "What is it?" "Daeseong just sent me information on the auditions for this big dance studio that's 25 minutes from here! Should we try it?"

Angel pretended to ponder this decision until Heejin pinches her cheek. "Okay! I think we should try out" Angel smiles as Heejin squeals in excitement.

With Sunghoon

Sunghoon needed a break, so he went for a walk around campus. His teacher was teaching something but Sunghoon couldn't comprehend anything and it was frustrating for him. He was so frustrating he felt like yelling and crying all day. He wanted to know if Angel told anybody that they broke up.

He just wanted to disappear especially now. He was on his way back to class not paying attention until he notices her. Angel is going pass right by him as she does he waves at her but she doesn't respond and keeps walking. She ignores him. He knows he deserves it but it still hurts him as he begrudgingly heads back to class.

The Next Day

Angel wakes up alone, she's trying to get used it. She thinks of the dance company tryouts that are coming up with Heejin. This makes her smile a bit as she dresses. She gets a text, she gets excited thinking it Sunghoon but it's Heejin and she remembers she won't be getting text from Sunghoon anymore.

Sunghoon has eaten very little in the pass few days by force of his mom. "You can't just not eat anymore!" She says in frustration. "I shouldn't be forced to eat if I don't want to" "I'm gonna let my only son waste away cause he messed up on his own" she says before leaving in anger.

He knew he caused himself pain but she didn't have to remind him. He didn't finish a lot of his breakfast and threw the rest away and left. Haime and Sanbin were worried about him. "Did you eat today, hyung?" Sanbin asks only to receive a glare from his hyung.

"People are talking about your saggy lids and red eyes~" Haime gets cut off. "I don't care!" Keeho walks up to them noticing the yelling from Sunghoon and the stares they're getting. "What's going~ what happened Sunghoon?" The said boy just stands up roughly pushing his chair.

"Piss off" he says coldly before walking away. He wanted to be alone and free from all these terrible feeling he was having. So he went to the ice rink, No he didn't skate. But the cold was comforting and peaceful for him so he watches the kids learn how to skate, reminding him when he was their age.

He couldn't go back to school, he wouldn't and he won't. He eventually got tired and went home to sleep, hoping he'd stay asleep for a long while. He was tired of being lonely.

Angel went over to Heejin's place to come up with a 16 count for the audition as required. While picking a song, they ate snacks and talk. "Have you talked to Haime unnnie?" Heejin asks and Angel nods. "Why wouldn't I?" "Well I just thought you were mad them so..." Heejin trails.

"I'm not mad at anyone not even Sunghoon oppa. Even if I was that doesn't stop you from talking to them. You can if you want" Heejin nods. "Well did you hear what happened to~" "Look at you. You're getting distracted the tryouts are in 3 days let's focus on picking the song" It became awkward for Heejin but she listened and they started looking at music again.
