The years passed with Y/n running to the city in her free time using her Star Steps and incredible speed. The female had caught up herself and Wukong on modern technology, so they didn't lag behind one bit. She even got Wukong a TV! Of course, with the simian's help.

And, not to mention, said simian had made plenty of enemies along the way. That was, of course, before he decided to retire.

....

"Wukong, I seriously, actually don't want to go." Said Y/n as she popped a strawberry in her mouth. She scrunched her nose.

"Awe, but it'll be so fuuun!" He complained. Y/n groaned. "Noooo!" She resisted, only to be snatched into a hug. "Pleaaaase?" He asked.

Y/n growled and popped another berry into her mouth. "Seriously, Wukong, I'll stay back and hold down the fort." She reassured. The simian reluctantly agreed, but not before he complained all over again about being lonely.

....

I can't believe he got me here. Thought Y/n in her bunny form as she watched Wukong with a deadpan face. The bird chirped happily before flapping his wings.

Her wars twitched as she watched the boy-- Red Son-- and the lady-- Princess Iron Fan-- attempted to pull the staff out. Or, at least, they spoke of it.

A poor bull clone robot had walked up to the staff, placed its hand hooves on the staff, and pulled. It pulled, yanked, and tugged, only for its arms to literally stick to the staff and its main body went flying back. It beeped sadly. Y/n huffed, ear twitching at the clang the metal produced. The small bunny hopped around to avoid any stares, her galaxy-like ears swiveling around to catch and hear every sound.

"You fool! You think we didn't try that already?!" Asked the red haired one. "It's going to take more than a few robots to lift the Monkey King's staff, but I, Red Son, have designed this gauntlet to bend it to my will!" He cackled, pulling out a large, metal gauntlet.

She stared at it with wide eyes, the stars in her eyes swirling with curiosity. She looked up to see Monkey King flutter towards the bandana kid who was supposed to be his Successor.

She hopped a little closer to get a better look, her galaxy-like ears facing forward with excitement and curiosity.

Red Son approached the staff with an evil chuckle before grabbing it and pulling. Y/n's ears leaned forward, and so did she as she looked at what was going on.

After a moment, Red Son managed to yank out the staff, making her gasp lightly. Woaaah, cool!! Her tail wagged behind her figure and she looked around. She approached carefully on the other side of Red Son, sniffing at the air.

Nothing?? "What!? Why isn't anything happening!? Mother, are you sure this is the right mountain?" Red Son asked nervously with the staff in hand.

Red Son's mother scoffed. "No! Maybe it was the other mountain with a magical staff that's sealing my husband away!" She replied sarcastically. Y/n crawled a little closer to the mountain, Red Son noticing. "How is a rabbit--" He began.

That was, of course, right before the stars within her fur began to flow brightly. She placed her paws on the grass, the stars within her fur dramatically dimming as magic surrounded the mountain.

It cracked.

Y/n squealed in her small bunny form and Red Son quickly forgot about her. He gasped, watching his father rise from beneath.
