"Who is it in the photo?" Anisha asked which shocked Mahi.
"He is my friend." He lied
"Oh okay."
"Anyways how is your hand baby? Is it still paining?" Asked a concerned Anisha
"Yess baby, it's okay now. It's not paining."
"Sure it's not paining?"
"Sure baby it's not."
"If you say so. I love you."
"I love you too."
He placed a soft kiss on her cheeks. Anisha smiled at it.
They stayed their for a while and went back to room.
Mahi didn't see Virat there he got tensed. He left Anisha with Yuzi and Hardik who were quarrelling over something.
He searched for him he then found him on terrace.
"Vi?" He called startling him he looked back with tears in his eyes.
"What's wrong Vi?"
"Bhai, that person called me again."
"Again?"
"Yes bhai."
Flashback to a few minutes ago.
Virat was chilling with others when, he got a call from Gaurav (the mystery man. But Virat doesn't know it's Gaurav.)
"What do you want? Why can't you leave us alone?"
"Not so easily Virat. Not so easily. I will make you suffer. You will have to beg me for your sister's and your life."
"Leave my sister alone. What did she do to you? Just leave her alone."
"No Virat no. Hahahahaa look at you crying and begging to keep her away. This is just the beginning, it will keep repeating, and you won't be able to do anything. You will just cry and cry. Hahahahahaahaaaaa"
"Dare you do anything to my sister or anyone."
"My first prey was MS now let's see whom should I hurt next. Hahhaahaaahhaaa"
"No hello no don't do anything" Vi shouted but he had cut the call.
Flashback ends
"What do I do bhai? How do I protect my family. You got hurt because of us. I can't let anyone else get hurt."
"Don't worry Cheeku. I am there na with you. Nobody will do anything. And it was not because of you okay?"
Virat hugged him. Mahi held him protectively, promising to himself he would do anything to protect his Cheeku and Anisha.
"Cheeku actually I have..." He was cut off by a call from Hardik.
"Yes Harry?"
"Bhai come na fast. Where have you and Virat Bhai gone. Come na we will play something."
"Coming Harry."
"Let's go Cheeks."
He couldn't show Gaurav's photo to Virat, he thought he will show it later.
They play Uno, some cards. And have fun game night. For once Virat forgot about the man and was enjoying thoroughly. Mahi felt content seeing him enjoy and laughing. He wanted to protect this smile of Virat and Anisha.
After a few days Anisha went to nearby coffee shop to get some coffee for herself. As she was coming back. The man came on his bike, stood beside her. Anisha got scared. She started walking fast, but that man caught up. He put knife in front of her throat, but took back laughing evily, Anisha was shivering now, he again got the knife in front of her throat, and took back. Anisha saw his face, and was shocked, "he is Mahi's friend" she thought.
She started to run from there but man was successful in scaring her and eventually Virat.
He followed her for a while. She ran faster to her room.
Virat was doing something on his laptop when he saw Anisha came in looking scared. He got concerned immediately.
He walked up to her, and Anisha hugged him tightly.
"Bacha what's wrong?"
She kept hugging and sobbing once secured in his arms. Virat tried to calm her down.
Once she was okay he made her sit on the bed and made her drink some water.
"Now tell me what's wrong bachaa?" He asked and kissed her forehead.
"Bhaiii" Anisha started teary.
"Yes bacha what happened?"
"I....I was coming back from the coffee shop, and a man on the bike came from behind and held the knife near my throat. And followed me for a while and again put the knife near my throat." She said sobbing.
Virat held her close, trying to calm her down.
"I am here bachaa, I am here. I would never let anything happen to you."
"Bhai he was Mahi's friend, I know he is."
Virat was confused at this.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes Bhai I am sure."
"Okay kiddo. Calm down now. I am there na."
She held on to him.
Just then he got a text from Gaurav.
"Hahah Virat, heard Anisha right? I am Mahi's friend, thanks to him for his mastermind! He wanted you out of captaincy race and ICT and I want you out of this world. I doubt if he loves Anisha truly or he just faking it. You will soon bid goodbye, and Anisha will be alone here so she will also bid goodbye maybe before you. Hahahhahaaaha."
"What nonsense is this, how should I believe you." Virat texted back.
"Look, I know Mahi for a while now, I come to know his intentions."
And the chat ended.
"Mahi Bhai is just trying to be a good person here, is he just faking his love towards Anisha. Manipulating us just to be a good person." Virat thought.
After a while Mahi came to his room, to talk about the pic.
"Cheeku..."
"What MS?" He asked rudely
Mahi was taken aback by his tone, thinking what happened to him all of sudden.
"What's wrong Cheeku?"
"You tell me that. You want me out of ICT and captaincy race, right? That won't happen MS. You are trying to manipulate us by being the good person? You can't MS you can't. And do you even love Anisha truly. Don't fake your love towards her. Your plans won't succeed." He spitted
Anisha stood their confused what was happening.
"It's nothing like that...." Mahi started but was cut off
"Don't defend with more lies. Now leave."
"Atleast listen to me."
"LEAVE! JUST LEAVE."
Mahi left dejected, heartbroken.
Virat sat on the bed, Anisha went and sat beside him and took him in a hug. Virat let out some tears in the hug.
He kept his head on her lap and began stroking his hair lovingly. He closed his eyes and tried to relieve the stress. Anisha bent and kissed on his head.
She thought she will talk to him about it once he feels better.
