"Cheeku, wake up kiddo." Mahi said as he tried to free himself from his hold
"Five minutes" Vi replied holding on to Mahi more. Snuggling to him making himself more comfortable.
"Bacha, get up now, it's lunch time. Eat something."
"No. I am not hungry, I just want you then I am fine."
"I am not going anywhere kiddo. Have your lunch."
Anisha ordered food for all of them.
"Nooo."
"You are having your food. Get up now."
"You will be here only?"
"Ofcourse kiddo."
After a lot of tries Virat got up and sat snuggling to him.
Waiter came in with their food
"Come on Cheeku have your food."
Virat was making faces.
Mahi took a bite near his mouth but Virat looked the other way.
"Bacha please have na your food."
Vi nodded in no making a cute childlike face.
"You know Cheeku, when I joined ICT.........." He started telling him stories of when he joined ICT and made him eat his food.
"Good boy see you ate your food." Said Mahi wiping Vi's face.
Mahi got up to wash his hands and freshen up. Virat caught his hand and wasn't letting him go.
"Cheeku leave me for a second kiddo. Let me wash my hands." He reluctantly left his hand. Mahi quickly washed his hands and came back and Virat snuggled to him immediately and holding him tight not letting him leave.
Virat didn't want to leave Mahi for a second. He wanted to be close to him.
"Ro! Come here!"
"Haan bhai?"
"Do one thing, go and find out about Alya and Gaurav. What is the connection between both of them. I am quite sure they are connected."
"Yes bhai."
Rohit left to work.
Anisha sat near the window and was observing how much Virat craved for love and care. He was so busy in protecting her that he forgot to take care of himself.
"Cheeku what's wrong with you?"
"Bhaii stay with me na please. Don't leave me."
"No kiddo. Why will I leave you."
"I feel scared when you are not around."
"Kiddo. I am here with you always. I am never leaving you. Understood."
"Bhai, I need you. I feel secure around you."
"Bacha I am here na to protect you, always. That's my promise. You will always find me by your side cheeku."
"I love you Bhai."
"I love you too bacha."
Virat snuggled to him more. Mahi rubbed his back and kissed his forehead and his grip on him grew tighter.
Anisha started to have a change of heart. She had started to accept that what Virat was saying about Mahi the other day was right. He was right when he said Mahi is caring and loves his close ones. Seeing the way he was pampering her brother and taking care, her mind said to give Mahi a second chance.
Meanwhile Rohit met Yash (Mahi's friend) and was discussing about the case.
"Rohit, I went through Gaurav's and Alya's bank statements. Gaurav had transferred 10 lakh rupees to Alya. She might be a pawn sent by him. Also they were captured in some footages."
"So Alya doesn't have a motive to kill Mahi or Anisha.".
"No."
"Okayyy."
"So Gaurav and Virat were in the same school as we know. I questioned some of their classmates, they say Gaurav had a sister called Arya who was madly in love with Virat. She tried to tell Virat many times and since Virat rejected her, didn't love her back, she got mentally unstable."
"So much madly in love." Rohit asked shocked.
"Yes. She still kept going after him. She was determined to win him, to make him hers but he didn't budge. One day she saw Virat and Anushka together. Her mental state got even worse. Gaurav being a protective brother he couldn't see her like this. He wished she should get everything she wants. He tried talking to him, to accept what Arya was saying but he refused. One day she killed herself in her mental state. This enraged Gaurav and then he decided to take revenge from Virat by hurting Anisha so that he also feels the same pain he felt."
"Oh my God. So much hatred. And what about the gang? Gaurav is part of it?"
"No Rohit, there is no such gang. It's demolished."
"They are safe from that end."
"Yes."
"So all this is for revenge."
"Yes just for revenge."
"We should catch that Gaurav before he hurts them. But Yash why was he trying to kill Mahi?"
"Because he is the only obstacle between them."
"Right."
"We are working on it. We shall catch him soon."
They left for their respective destinations.
