After talking to Virat Mahi was walking towards his room heartbroken, dejected, and totally confused about what had happened.
"What did I do now? Why is he talking like this? I was just trying to help them, protect them. I want him out of captaincy race? Like seriously why would I want that. I am manipulating him just to be a good guy? God!!! Why cheeku why are you talking like this. It's just that ki I want you safe and keep worrying about something or the other. And I am faking my love towards Anisha? I love her from all my heart." He thought and cried to himself.
After calming himself he got up wiped his tears, was more determined
"No, I can't break down like this. I have to find out more about this Gaurav, why is he troubling Virat and Anisha. I will protect them, even if Virat refuses my help. I won't give up so easily. No I won't." He thought to himself.
He called Yash to see if he had find out anything more.
Here in Vi's room he was sitting on the bed holding his head. Anisha went and sat on the beside him.
"Bhai? What's wrong? Why were you saying like that to him? How do you even know about all this?"
"Ani, look I know what I am doing okay? I have the evidence to say that."
"What evidence Bhai? What are you talking about? What's going on?"
"Anisha, there are some things you need to know but not now. I will tell you when the time comes. For now please do as I say."
"Bhai but...."
"No buts okay. Don't argue."
"Okay Bhai."
Anisha makes him lay his head on her lap and strokes her hand through his hair. It calmed him down.
Anisha was sitting in the balcony when Mahi called. She ignored at first but he kept calling, after 5 calls she picked up.
"What Mahi?"
"Ani, please talk to me. Why are you ignoring me?"
"Seriously you don't know why?"
"You also don't believe me now? Trust me, it's nothing like that Ani. I love you, I really do. I am not faking it."
"Mahi, I don't know, I want to believe this but I think I will go with Bhai this time."
"Ani, please listen to me. It's not what you think..... Ani? Ani?" She had cut the call.
Mahi's heart broke, she didn't believe him. She also thinks he is faking it. But he wouldn't give up. He would save his loved ones. He was determined than never before.
"Hey Yash! Any update?"
"Yes Mahi, there is."
"What?"
"I searched his home once again. And found some class photos, he went to SPM College. There is a boy who resembles Virat alot. I will send you the photo, confirm if it's him."
"Virat?"
"Yes Virat. Check the photo, if it's Virat then we will have to go to their college and see if we find anything."
"Sure Yash. Just send I will check."
"If that is Virat, then why is he after Anisha? Why does he want to harm her? Ughhh this is confusing."
It was match day, and Mahi asked Virat to change the field placements, for Buttler. He denied. Mahi asked to take DRS he refused and Mahi was right, Buttler would have been out. Mahi gave a disappointed and a bit angry look. He was upset he was mixing his personal battles with the game. He should have kept it separate.
Ro was confused by this. "Why is Vi acting like that. He is not listening to Bhai? That's wierd."
He decided to talk to him about it.
Just then Yuzi and Shardul came there.
"Ro bhaiyaa? Did you notice Vi bhaiya not listening and acting wierd with Mahi Bhai?"
"Yes Yuzi, I noticed. I will talk to him. Don't worry."
Ro went to Virat's room and saw him sitting in the balcony.
"Vi? Tu idhar hai? Kabse dhund raha hoon tujhe."
"Kya hua Ro?"
"Kya ho raha hai tujhe? Bhai se aise kyun behave kar raha tha?"
"Toh kya karun? He will take the credit, he wants to prove I am a bad captain throwing me out of captaincy race and eventually out of ICT."
"Kya bakwas kar raha hai tu? Bhai aisa kyu karenge. Aisa hota toh voh kabhi tera naam recommend bhi nahi karte na."
"Voh toh bass prove karne keliye hoga na ki he is a bad captain future mein don't consider him for the role."
"Bakwas band kar apni. Kuch bhi mat sochte baith. Kyu bol rahe hai aisa."
Virat narrates everything.
"Tu us pe vishawas rakh raha hai jo bass harm karna chahta hai? Aur tu apne bhai pe vishawas nahi kar sakta?"
"Aisa hi hoga Ro. Brainwash kiya hai usne tera."
"Aisa kuch nahi hai samjha. Chod kuch fayda hi nahi hai tujhse baat karke." Saying this he left from there.
Mahi was a bit furious and angry with Vi's behaviour, that could have costed them the match.
"Bhaiii" Ro barged in shouting.
"Yes Ro."
"Bhai, I am sorry on Vi's behalf."
"Don't be sorry Ro."
"No bhai. How could he even think like this?"
"Ro, he will understand soon. Trust me Ro, I love Anisha truly, I am not faking it. Trust me please."
"I know Bhai. You love her. She does feel safe with you."
"She does? She is ignoring me lately. I feel she doesn't trust me."
"Bhai, she is getting influenced by Vi. She loves him so much that she will stand by him. All family she has is Vi, and she will not want to drift away from that."
"I understand. I won't give up. I will try to find who this person is."
"Yes bhai I am with you."
"So Ro see this photo, is this Cheeku?" Showing him the photo
"Yes bhai, this is Cheeku. But where did you get this from?"
Mahi then explains everything. And shows him Gaurav's photo.
"We will find him and end this. He must have fed something in Vi's brain."
"I feel so too. Let's find him."
They made a resolve to protect Vi and Anisha.
Later in the evening Anisha was staring at the sky from terrace, thinking something to herself.
There was a man standing there and admiring her.
"She looks so beautiful and cuteee." He thought to himself.
He walked up to her.
"Hello Anisha."
"You?" She said shocked.
