Jake
Last night was like my personal heaven. But it couldn't last forever. I woke up early. Before vic, she was still snoring lightly. My arms were still wrapped around vic and she looks so peaceful. I was thinking about getting ready to pack and leave. But i didn't want to wake vic so i stayed put.
Then i felt slightly stalker ish so i closed my eyes soon realising i couldn't fall asleep so just lying here breathing in her lavender shampoo.Vic started so move slightly so i waited for her eyes to flutter open revealing her perfect eyes.
"Hi." She says softly leaning towards me to kiss me on the cheek."Hi." I reply. Im thinking about just staying here forever but Vic gets up and starts talking about packing and travelling and even food.
"Calm down we have tw.. TWO FUCKING hours. We best listen to you." I totally lost track of time.We get dressed and pack our small bags. "Ill give him the key you look for a shortcut to Peterborough. Then Nottingham, maybe Then Hull or Manchester. Should last us a week." She says before pushing me out the door.
...
I open the map watching Vic flirt with the dude so we can have a discount. I mark out our rout just in time for Vic to come back and with extra cash.... one week later ...
Turns out getting to Manchester isn't as hard as it seems. Vic is on about heading to the Yorkshire Dales to get some herbs and crap but i cant help but notice how much weaker shes getting. Ive offered her some of my rations she wont take them.We havent been tracked yet. Apparently they've lost us. But i can sometimes see them in visions. Worryingly Vic's evil side when shes sleeping she talks to me. And i just wake vic up from her 'snoring' i dont have the heart to tell her. Some of the supernaturals have mentioned it. Some werewolves tried a full moon pack thingy; it didn't work.
Im starting to loose hope about this safe place. Mostly because we havent gotten far."Were you even listening?" She asks
"Yeah. Uhh going north." Vic just rolls her eyes at me we start walking but Vic has to stop because shes choking on a fly or something. That was her excuse But there wasn't any flies.
"Im fine just keep going." She responds calmly. When she thinks I've turned around i can see the tissue out of the corner of my eye. Blood.
"We should take the shortcut. Aka the bus. My legs are dying. Please. I have some change." I beg.
"Fine one bus. Thats it." She says quite bossily. Shes well enough to boss me around. Thats an upside.
I spend what seems like forever looking at bus routes. And find one that takes us to Edinburgh. Its a couple hundred quid but I've met some mind controllers. Get it for free.
"Ok this one leaves here in an hour. So what do you wanna do?" I ask.
"Wake me up when it arrives." She says sitting on a bench. Before her pale skin rests and she drifts off to the land of sleep. Hopefully its peaceful there.
