CHAPTER FORTY-EIGHT; JEALOUSY
Alishaa woke up earlier than normal to surprise Faaris, she quickly wash up and started preparing breakfast knowing Faaris wakes up at seven am sharp.
"So what do you think of the salad? I just added chicken, at least is better than sandwich right? I have been asking you! You know you can just tell me instead of ignoring me, y-" Said Alishaa looking at Faaris he looked up from the plate and to her face which held confusion and curiosity.
"You didn't give me chance to talk, the food is good if not I wouldn't be eating and yes it is better than sandwich"
"Are you saying that because you don't want me to feel bad?"
"I am saying that because it is the truth, so my review really matters to you huh?" He asked smirking
"Yeah well you are Faaris the perfectionist and not to forget Mr Grinch"
"I thought you forgot that name"
"Never!" She grinned at him.
"Oh walking teddy bear"
"Did you just call me a doll?"
"Well not a doll but a teddy it suits you! I would start calling you that"
"Do not! That is awful!"
"Says the one who calls me the Grinch"
"But it suits you and it is cute"
"You think I am cute?" He gave her a smile. She stared at him before clearing her voice and looking behind him. He raised his brow but did not question it knowing how weird she is.
"You took a day off today?"
"Yeah, Aunt Maryam wants me to go to the mall with her"
"Bonding with the in-laws huh?"
"You know I actually prefer the Grinch over this new Faaris!" She scoffing
"Well he is no more so enjoy the husband Faaris" He winked making her blush.
"I am not going to work either today!" He said getting up with his plate and walking into the kitchen.
"Oh thank god! You are coming with us, I was getting nervous being all alone with them" She smiled and walked to where he is standing washing his used plate.
"Don't be nervous no I am not coming with you, I am going out with Samira"
"Why?" She reacted quickly before she could stop herself but again she wants to know why he going out with Samira.
"She doesn't like hotels, we going to find her an apartment" He noticed her change in mood and decided to tease her.
"Don't you normally send Naadir for this kind of stuff? You know as the CEO you shouldn't be taking day off too much!"
"Er well she is a close friend of mine you see I have to help!" She nodded sighing. She believed she has no right to be jealous but she can't help but feel sad at the thought of him and another lady together.
"What is with the change of mood? Are you jealous?"
"Why will I be jealous? I am just sad for her having to spend the day with you"
"Whatever you say! Let me go and get ready don't want to be late for her, she also hates waiting" He said and walked to his room.
"She hates waiting! Who cares what she likes!" She mocked his voice rolling her eyes.

"Is that all Aunt?" She asked Maryam as they walked out of the clothing store. She loves shopping but then her mind has been on Faaris all day and what he is doing.
"Ah yes we have check the cosmetics shop though, you tired already? I thought you liked shopping?"
"Oh I am not tired just asking Ma"
"Okay darling have you spoken to Faaris?"
"No he didn't call me" She said sighing
"I see what is with the low energy, don't worry Samira might be all in-love and clingy with him but he is only yours" Alishaa blushed looking down
"Samira's in love with him?"
"Yeah she is, since days back but he didn't give her the attention, you know I am glad you too met the boy lost his laughter years back but with you I can see it coming back!" She stopped keeping the bag on the floor and holds Alishaa's hands looking at her.
"Please take care of my boy, he is good at hiding his emotions and you should also challenge him always he tends to show his emotions like that" She kissed her forehead and let go of her. They started walking ahead with Maryam stopping and buying stuff on the way.
Alishaa was nervous about how the day is going to be like even though the wedding is fake Maryam is still her in-law. She thought about her conversation with Faaris about mothers he seemed to hold an untold story but here she is being nice. She realised how she knows nothing about Faaris except his grandma, Nihaal, Rashid and Naadir, but asking him questions will lead to him wanting to know about hers, which she is not ready to tell.
