We've been on the train for ten minutes and I'm starting to get board. I reach into my bag and take out a book. By chance, it's Twilight, again.
I'm halfway done the book an hour later. I'm so enthralled, I forget who I am, what my name is. I wish it was Bella.
I'm feeling a little motion sick, so I put the book back in my bag and look over at Angel. She's passed out cold on my shoulder. Angel's a heavy sleeper. We took her to a concert once and she slept through it. Ironically, she woke up during the last song, a ballad.
My tablet rings. I take it out and see that Steven has texted me. He's right behind me. There's no need for him to text me.
Steven: Don't look now, but the person across the aisle from you is a Poseidonian. He's wearing the crest, but he's probably just going on a vacation to Stratford for pleasure.
I'm scared beyond belief.
Me: Okay. What should I do?
Steven: I packed fake glasses in the bag with all the clothes. Casually reach in and slip them on.
I do as he says.
Me: How will we get off without him seeing us?
Steven: I don't think he's noticed us, but when we stop, fumble with your bags a bit and wait for him to get off. Make sure that you're behind him.
Me: But what if he's noticed us and will be waiting outside?
Steven: I didn't think of that. But still follow the plan. He won't recognize you.
Me: I'm trusting you.
Steven: Good
The train screeches to a stop in front of the Stratford Train Station. As instructed, I fumble with my bag and wait for the spy to exit. Then I wait for a nod from Steven before standing up and leaving the cabin. Luckily I don't see the spy anywhere.
Once again, we're safe.
