I wake up in my room, stiff, sitting against my bed. The morning sun is bursting through my windows, illuminating the pink room. Angel is slumped over my lap. We probably fell asleep while we were crying. But there is a blanket over my legs. I carefully slip my legs out from under Angels head and pick her up. I carry her to her room and tuck her into bed, closing the door as I leave.
I make my way downstairs and see Steven in the kitchen making coffee. "Did you give me and Angel a blanket last night?"
He nods. "I didn't want to move you to your beds, but it does get cold."
"Thanks," I make myself a bowl of cereal and take a seat at the bar.
"Jaclyn, Nemmy, Finn, and Cathrin are coming soon. They just called and told me that they just boarded the train. Which means we need to prepare the rooms."
"Okay,"
"Go wake up Angel." Steven tells me.
"Let me just finish my cereal." I dip my spoon in the Rice Crispies and look up and see Steven arching an eyebrow at me. I sigh and put my spoon back down in the bowl. "Fine." He smirks and goes back to stirring his coffee.
As I'm walking upstairs, the doorbells rings. It can't be Finn and the rest. They're not due for three hours. Steven answers the door and calls to me. I come back downstairs and see Steven holding a big cardboard box. "The ALWASS just dropped off all your clothes from the other house." I look in the box and see three separate bags, one with my name on it, one with Angel's, and one with Nemmy's. I take mine up to my room and drop it on my bed.
I walk to Angel's room and gently shake her awake. "Good morning, Angel." She gives me a meek smile. "Ready to move back into your room?" She scrunches up her nose. I giggle. "Come on," I help her out of bed and see Steven standing in the doorway.
"If you want, you can put your clothes away before you start." he tells us.
I smile. "Thanks," Steven tosses me Ange's clothing bag and goes back downstairs. I help Angel out of bed and lead her into my room. She passes me dresses and I hang them up and she puts my books into the shelf while I fold all my clothes. Then we move on to her room and unpack her bag and Nemmy's bag. We're done half an hour later.
Steven has been moving things around the entire time. By the time we join him, he's over halfway done.
When we're done, we head downstairs to watch television. Angel falls asleep leaning on me. All that unpacking really tired her out.
