Boston

It was dark outside. Still not quite night, but the sun was definitely gone already. The bus was half full as it entered Boston.

One of the passengers was a small boy of ten years of age. He had brown hair and was wearing a dark coat with a grey and red striped scarf. But the most important thing was the book in his hands, a big rectangular brown book with the title Once Upon A Time written across the cover.

As the bus entered the Boston South Station, a woman sitting close to the kid asked him "is that a good book?"

"This, is more than just a book" answered the kid

Once he was out of the bus, he went to find a taxi to continue his field trip. He had someone very important to find.

Also in Boston, at a restaurant downtown, a young, beautiful blonde woman, Emma Swan, wearing a tight pink dress and black high heels was ready for her "work-date". This was the easiest way to catch the guy she was after.

As she approached the table, a quite handsome guy stood up to greet her "Emma?" he asked cautiously as he reached out his hand

"Ryan?" she said as she took his hand to shake it "you look relieved" she observed

He chuckled "well, it is the internet" he reasoned as they sat down "pictures can be-"

"Fake. Outdated. Stolen from a Victoria's Secret catalogue?" suggested Emma cutting him off. They both laughed at this.

"So" continued Ryan "um, tell me something about yourself, Emma"

"Oh, well, today's my birthday" she confessed

"And you're spending it with me?" Asked Ryan "What about your friends?"

"Kind of a loner" admitted her

"And... you don't like your family?" guessed him

"I had lunch with my sister. She's the only family I've got" Emma said

"What about your parents?" Ryan asked genuinely

"We have no idea who they are" she found herself admitting once more. She needed to turn the conversation back on him "ready to run yet?" she jokingly asked

"Not a chance" Ryan replied smiling "you, Emma, are by far, the sexiest, friendless orphan I have ever met"

"Okay" Emma chuckled. "Your turn. No wait, let me guess. Um, you are handsome, charming..." she started

"Go on" he said smiling

Emma smiled too. This was the perfect moment for her to show her hand "the kind of guy who, and now stop me if I get this wrong" at this point she turned serious and continued talking "embezzled from your employer, got arrested, and skipped town before they were able to throw your ass in jail"

"What?" Ryan was so confused right now, but Emma wasn't done "And the worst part of all is your wife. Your wife loves you so much that she bailed you out, and how do you repay that loyalty? You're on a date"

"Who are you?" Asked Ryan just as serious as Emma was now

"The chick who put up the rest of the money" she said

Ryan finally realized what was going on "You're a bail-binds-man"

"Bail-bonds-person" corrected Emma

Suddenly, Ryan stood up and flipped the table, spilling wine on Emma's dress and running away
