A Land Without Magic - Part 1

Friday night, April 3

After Henry had collapsed, Emma had called for an ambulance and they were finally in the hospital

"Henry? Can you hear me!? Come on Henry, wake up, please!" Emma kept repeating as he nursed put him on a bed "Come on Henry, come on, you can do it"

One of the nurses approached Emma "Ma'am, let me take you to-"

"No, I am not going anywhere!" Emma cut her off

"There's no pupil response" Dr. Whale said, checking Henry "What happened? Did he fall? Hit his head?" he asked the twins

"He ate this" Angie replied, showing him the bagged turnover

"I think it's poisoned" Emma said

Dr. Whale checked Henry's mouth "His airway's clear. Did he vomit? Any convulsing or disorientation?" he asked

Emma was losing her patience "He took a bite of this and then he just collapsed" she replied taking the turnover from Angie's hands "So run the tests for arsenic or bleach or Drano or whatever could've done this to him!"

"The boy is showing no symptoms that would suggest neurotoxin" Dr. Whale explained "So whatever's going on, this is not the culprit" he said, holding the turnover

"Well, what else could it be?" the blonde asked calmer

"I don't know" Dr. Whale admitted "That's what I'm trying to find out"

"He's going to be okay thought, right?" Angie asked

"Right now, we just need to stabilize him, cause he's slipping away" Dr. Whale said "Is there anything else that you can remember? Any little detail?" he insisted

"We already told you everything. Do something!" Emma replied, grabbing Henry's backpack and going over to the next bed

"Look, I understand you're frustrated miss Swan, I do" Dr. Whale told Emma while she opened Henry's backpack and emptied its contents on the bed "But I need something to treat and right now, there is no explanation, it's like..." without an answer, he just trailed off, turning to check on Henry

"Like magic" Emma finished for herself as see saw the story book. When she grabbed it, she saw in her mind the moment when Snow White said goodbye to her daughters and how Prince Charming fought off some soldiers to take them to the wardrobe.

Angie was looking at her sister and noticed the moment her face showed she believed. Just a second later, Regina frantically rushed into the room "Where's my son?" she asked worried

"You did this" Emma said softly at hearing the Mayor's voice

Angie saw the look on Emma's face change from belief to murder "Emma?" she tried to reach for her sister, but Emma was already grabbing Regina's arm and throwing her in a storage supply closet "Emma!" she shouted, following her

"You did this!" Emma shouted, pushing Regina against the supply racks

"What the hell are you doing!?" Regina asked, trying to defend herself, but Emma pinned her down against a locker "Stop this! My son-!" she screamed

"Is sick because of you!!" Emma screamed back, right on Regina's face, cutting her off "That apple turnover you gave me, he ate it!"

"What?" Regina whispered "It was meant for you!" she confessed

"It's true, isn't it?" Emma asked, still holding Regina down

"What are you talking about?" Regina asked confused

"It's true, isn't it!?" Emma insisted "All of it"

Realizing what Emma was asking and knowing she couldn't lie her way out, she admitted it "Yes"
