Storybrooke
Regina was about to finish reading Henry's book when she found out the last pages were missing. She tried to get Henry to tell her where they were but her focus changed when she heard the clock tower give the hour. When she went to check the clock up close, she saw Emma's Bug parked on the street and decided it was time for the twins to leave.
Back at her office, Regina was picking apples when a man approached her. It was Sidney, the local reporter. Regina had asked him to search for information she could use against the twins, but all he could find was how they got separated in the foster system and how they spent a lot of time in many different foster homes. He also found out about Emma's arrest, but the details were locked up, and how Henry was born in jail. Finally, he informed Regina that Emma bounced around all over before finally finding Angie again and moving in with her. With no real useful information, Regina finished putting the apples in a basket and went to have a talk with Emma at the Inn.
When Emma woke up that morning it took her a minute to remember where she was. She was barely out of bed when someone knocked on her door. She was expecting her sister, but she was wrong. When she opened the door it was actually the mayor standing on the other side
"Did you know the Honey-crisp tree is the most vigorous and healthy of all apple trees?" said Regina in a somewhat friendly tone "It can survive temperatures as low as forty below and keep growing. It can weather any storm. I have one that I've tended to since I was a little girl and to this day, I have yet to taste anything more delicious than the fruit it offers" she offered Emma an apple when she finished her speech
"Thanks" said Emma softly accepting the fruit
"I'm sure you and your sister will enjoy them on your drive home" said Regina giving Emma the full basket
"Actually, we're gonna stay for a while" replied the blonde, not taking the basket
After hearing this, Regina turned serious "I'm not sure that's such a good idea" she commented "Henry has enough issues, he doesn't need the two of you confusing him"
"All due respect, Madame Mayor, but the fact that you have now threatened me twice in the last 12 hours makes me wanna stay more" admitted Emma with a smirk
"Since when are apples a threat?" Regina asked trying to act like she didn't knew what Emma was talking about
"I can read between the lines" answered Emma "Sorry, I just wanna make sure Henry's okay. We both do" she said
"He's fine, dear. Any problems he has are being taken care of" Regina assured her
This confused Emma "What does that mean?"
"It means I have him in therapy" explained the mayor "It's all under control. Take my advice miss Swan, only one of us knows what's best for Henry"
"Yeah, I'm starting to think you're right about that" replied Emma
Regina was starting to lose her patience "It's time for you two to go" she said seriously
"Or what?" challenged Emma. That's when Angie came out of her room. She saw Regina step closer to her sister, but she wasn't able to hear what she said
