William Ferdinand Markle sat on the bench as he glimpses the girl who is crying again. He discovered that this girl is the only one of his batchmates that have no parents on the family day. He doesn't understand why Emma's parents couldn't come but he was aware or everyone is aware that her family is a Marcos. Aside from that, he is aware of her family problems, and his younger brother is always sick, which could've been the reason why they couldn't come.

He watches his classmate, Fiona bully Emma. He rolled his eyes as he know that Fiona is envious of Emma which is the reason why she bullied Emma for fun and jealousy. Well, what can he say, Emma is the very smart girl he met considering she is always top in every class and got the highest score in every exam and quiz. She is the epitome of a perfect daughter that any parent could have. And that is probably the reason why he has strange feelings towards her.

When Fiona walks away, William immediately walks toward her as he knows that she is hurting by her words.

He stood up beside her and clear his throat as he taps her shoulder. " oh ito..." He handed Emma his hankie that has his abbreviation on it. When she looks up at him, all William saw is her shining green eyes.

William's heart beat faster as he watches her wiping her teary eyes, he didn't understand every time he saw her like this, it keep his heart beating way faster than it shouldn't be. It makes him mad and frustrated that someone makes him do this to him.

He tried to bully her, by grabbing her stuff and running away and it was more fun when Emma is chasing him. The feelings are the same and he wanted to stop it. He couldn't ask his family as he didn't want to be seen as a coward. Ferdinand William Markle is a brave boy so he must face these mysteries like a man.

When she accepts it, he blush a little as he felt her hand brushing on his. " your crying like a baby. Emmanuela keeps it together madaming taong nakatingin sayo." He said.

Emma gulped and rapidly wipes the tears stained on her cheeks. " Thanks, Ferdinand," she whispers.

That name again! He hated someone called him Ferdinand! It always reminds him of his grandfather who sadly passed away. He is the reason why he has Ferdinand in his name on it as he is the only son among his four sisters. ( he is the middle child). But then again it finds him confused about why he couldn't be mad at Emma when she was the one who call him that name. In fact, he loves it as he knows that Emma is the only one who called him that name.

Ferdinand's face went blushing madly and couldn't concentrate. " n-o-o dont called me that! It's too old and ugh! " the young boy pulled his hair in frustration. " My name is William okay! William Ferdinand Markle calls me William. You--you-" he thinks of a word that can describe her of course it's an insult. " You cry, baby!"

" arghhh, stupid girl" the young boy turn around as he clutches his chest. Before he leaves Emma saw his face blushing red. He entirely forgets his hankie as he sprints on the way to the ground.

It's lunch break and 12-year-old William Markle decides to go to the library as he wanted to borrow 4 books as the incoming Math test would be tomorrow. Math is his favourite subject, especially when there is algebra involved.
