⚊ chapter twenty four

Remember my five rules before about Lee Heeseung? Why it was completely forgotten now?

At the start after the first kiss, I didn't want to like him for many reasons, but deep down I knew I was too late for that mindset.

Especially if just one look at him, at his face or his smile or even the simplest way of him only existing before my eyes, I'm falling all over again.

Let's just admit I'm inlove with the very idea of Lee Heeseung.

He helped me walk around the mazes of the vehicles and inside their marble house. Our arms were linked together as we walked through the ballroom, one that his family opens only for special occasions such as this.

Everything was decorated so beautifully in all the corners and nooks of the huge place. Everyone was dressed up to their best and there was so much to see in the familiar faces like my brothers and his friends in their table.

They were already looking at us long before we took notice of them.

Some girls and even boys themselves can't take their eyes off from the six young men, for it was a normal habit to look at something beautiful, eye-catching, a sight to behold.

"We are to sit here", Heeseung said as we reached the biggest table.

The table was seated in the middle of the room, there were huge flowers on the vase and elegant cutleries for each seat available.

I sat down and Heeseung sat next to me, we were the first ones to arrive here. In front of me, I grew intimidated to see the names in the back of each seat, I didn't know who these people are, but them bearing the last name of Lee was enough to have me on edge.

It was safe to safe they were all his family.

Heeseung turned his chair to me and I angled my body towards him.

"Do I look alright?", He asked me and I frowned.

"You look so handsome everyday", I admitted as I fix some of the stray hairs falling into his forehead.

He put his hand on top mine as he lowered it to his lap, "I'm going to make a speech for them tonight. Think I could do well?"

"You're gonna kill it, I can feel it, Hee", I said to him, now mulling over the truth I was almost in another world with him.

It stopped though as we noticed people walking over to our table, so we separated a bit and let go of each other's hands in the mean time.

"Hey little bro!", Seokhoon clasped a hand over his shoulder - it's his big brother.

Heeseung got up to hug his brother and perhaps like he said, he'd been talking about me to him, Seokhoon also give me a hug in front of their family.

He cheered as he looks at me closer this time, "You're so grown up from the last time I saw you here!"

I smiled in return, "How's your doctor life for you, Sir?"

"It's more than fulfilling", He responded as a beautiful woman turned up by his side, "Oh this is my lady, Suzy. Suzy, this is my brother's date, Sunhee. Isn't she a little fairy in your eyes?"

We talked for a little while, long enough for me to learned that Suzy is a psychologist and they had been in the same school where they started dating. Their relationship was in it's fifth year now, I almost gush at how could this end for them.

We were just cut off with Heeseung excusing himself to get ready in the back of the prepared stage for his speech, just as one of his cousins walked over to my seat.
