Later that night, I was back in my room after ensuring my things for my vacation with Heeseung in Hawaii is in their van.

The house was incredibly quiet since my parents are still at work and my brother is out on a date. I cleaned my room and tried to collect my thoughts. It felt weird though, to be alone here and look back to all what had happened this year.

I opened the drawer with my hoodies and grinned at Heeseung's soccer jersey right on top. It felt like a million years since he'd given it to me and never got it since he'll never used it again by the next school term.

He will go to college which is just one hour away from here. I heard from him that he'll never went back to their house and the one paying for all of his expenses is his brother rather than his controlling dad.

Everything is getting for the better now.

Looking at the large number on my desk clock, I saw that it was 9 pm and knew I have to go in my meeting with Heeseung in the place he sended to me in my phone, so I grabbed my car keys and headed downstairs.

"Where are you going?", Dahyun asked as she walked out of the kitchen, "Good Lord, Sunny, it's a little late now to go, don't you think?"

"Yeah sorry. I just need to meet Heeseung in that hill. I'll be back immediately", I smiled at her as I went back to the front door.

I turned back to wave as I opened it and stopped for a second at the forlorn expression that flashed across her face.

She saw my hesitation and waved me off with a smile, "Be safe, Sunny"

As I climbed into my car and started the engine, my phone buzzes from the backseat and I saw it was a text message from Ni-ki, which made me smile at the subject. He'd been talking about it for days now.

It's about that Park Minji again.

Ni-ki:
Hey, so we were out in an impromptu practice and guess what?

I kicked too hard out of the field and it hit that annoying girl in the face. I helped her to the clinic but she punched me in front of the nurse!

What kind of girl is that? 😠

For some reason, I kinda like the sound of this girl. I'd love to meet her soon in the next term.

It would certainly make things exciting for Ni-ki if they keep meeting like this, in the most annoying way for the two of them.

After driving for a while, I found myself at the familiar hill where Heeseung brought me when we first sneaked out of the house back then. I can only wish my parents wouldn't date there this time.

We're not hiding anymore, but it would be awkward to meet to where you can see them.

Finally, I reached the beautiful park in the top and pulled my car up onto the grass. My headlight flashed over another vehicle and I tensed up until I realized I could tell who owned that new car since all of his old ones were now stuck in his parents' house.

I guess his brother is already spoiling him as well.

"Well, look who decided to show up", Heeseung's voice called from the edge of the hill.

I walked towards him and relaxed to see him sat on the grass, the lamp lights casting a glow on his face. He reached his hand out and tugged me down to sit next to him. I snuggled under his arm and rested my head on his shoulder, a normal occurences between us.

"Why did you want to go here all of a sudden?", I whispered into the darkness.

"It's weird being alone in my brother's condo", he shrugged under my head. I nodded in understanding, it will be a long time before he can forgive his dad, "I'm surprised your family let you off though"
