*10 months later*
As I walk down the isle to my wonderful husband, I realized my life is complete. My friends and family all around, decorations as far as the eye can see, my babies watching me. My life felt complete. I can't believe I am marrying Austin today. We've been engaged for so long but it has felt like we've been together for centuries. I reached Austin and the priest and took Austin's hands into mine.
"Hi" he whispered teary eyed.
"Hi" I whispered back.
"Friends, family, we are gathered here today for the joining of these two souls..."
Everything became a blur when I stared at Austin. Just him smiling at me made everything a haze.
"May I have the rings please?" Just then Tyler ran up to us with a little pillow with the wedding rings. He's grown up so much and he looks so much more like Austin with every growing moment. We bent down to take the rings from Tyler and me and Austin both gave him a kiss. Tyler then ran back to Jodie who was sitting in the front pew. Me and Austin gave each other our rings and began to say our vows.
"Ashlyn, ever since I met you, I knew you were the one. I fought for us since day one and have loved you ever since I laid eyes on you. You're perfect. You are so smart, weird, funny, loving, and an amazing mother and wife. I love you with my entire heart and I will love you forever. All of our memories all of our feelings... I share a thousand good times with you my love." Austin sobbed.
I was trying to hard to compose myself and not cry but I couldn't help myself. I began to sob.
"Austin, where do I even begin. Every awaking moment with you is a journey. Everyday I get excited just to be with you. Our kids, our family, that's what I love. I never thought I would be here right now but I am, and it's perfect. Please don't ever break your back for me. I count on you to stay."
After I said my vows, everything became a blur. The only thing I really do remember was mine and Austin's private last dance together.
"We're married." I mumbled into Austin's shoulder.
"Ashlyn Post." He chuckled.
"Austin Post." I whispered. He looked down at me.
"This is the best damn day of my life." Austin said kissing me. I melted. I knew, my story needed to end here.
