{Wallace's POV}

It was another day in the cottage, one where the smell of the rain has piqued. I had just got out of bed, ruffling my teal hair, simply combing the messiness out of it with my fingers.. As I got out of the comforting bed, I couldn't help but feel different today.. as if some sort of emotion has washed up on me.. I can't describe it at the moment, but it felt heavy.. as if large rocks had tumbled over, crushing me until I fell and collapsed. But I managed to shake it off, and moved on to my day.

I opened my closet, looking at the options I have. Sure, I have a few collared tops, one with puffy sleeves, one with an even fancier one, but I'm not in a mood for that. I was looking for something I can get soaked in, something simple yet best in my opinion... and it was there. A gray vest and a dark short sleeve. Something as dark as the upcoming rainstorm, maybe this'll be pleasing, and it can go along with my white beret too.

"Ah, good morning Mikuri!" White Floette greeted me, as she flied around me.

"Good morning, Aunt, where's Red and Blue, if I may ask?"

"They're both downstairs, sprucing up the cottage, you sure have been dressing up for quite the occasion though. What's so special about the rain?" She asked.

"For me, the rain falling down is a blessing, I get to dance in it, too." I chuckled.

"Alright, just make sure not to get wet, okay?"

"I promise, White."

I exited the cottage once more, as the light pitter patter of the rain had already begun. I felt overjoyed by this, I always loved the rainy season, ever since I was a kid, it was always so magical in my eyes on how something as small as that can be frightening to others.. my slow-paced walking went faster, and the next thing I knew, I was running through the puddles, embracing the feeling through my skin. "Ah, it's great!" I exclaimed.

{Steven's POV}

"Quick Metagross, we have to get back to the forest to tell Wallace about it!" I ran through the forest, as the rain poured down, damping my silver cloak, and the rest of my outfit. I kept turning, where was that prince? That was.. until I heard someone laughing again.. It was in a clearing in the forest.. It was Wallace. He was there, dancing in the rain? Quite interesting, if I must say..

"Wallace!" I called out.

"Hm? Oh, Steven! I can't believe you're here with me!" He seemed excited.. but why?

"Wallace, I.. I don't understand why are you out here in the rain.. why do you seem happy today?"

"Well, the rain is something I love Steven, it's magical, enchanting even.. please, come dance with me."

"What are you- Woah!" And all of a sudden, I'm running with him, he was overjoyed, like a little kid in a meadow. I exhaled, and just continued with whatever he was doing. "Was that Zinnia person right? She could have been lying to me, and it was someone else... It wouldn't be Wallace."  The thought echoed in my mind.

The clouds became darker and darker, the rain started pouring harder, this isn't looking good.

"Wallace, Wallace- the rain, it's pouring hard!" I yelled at him, tugging his sleeve to stop.

"Huh? Yeah, I can see it Steven, it's nothing wrong-"

"Yes it is! I wanted to tell you something.. A-about yesterday.." And that aching feeling in my heart is back, along with an even worse one in my throat, too..

That was when she, the enchantress appeared right before our eyes, shocking even, to the point where Milotic appeared behind their trainer, Wallace.

"Ahaha, did I miss something.. important here?" Zinnia cackled.

"You, you're the one who-" Her glare shifted to me, and it felt like I couldn't muster up the courage to speak.

"Oh, I'm Wallace, pleased to meet you, erm.."

"Me? I'm Zinnia, you're usual forest dweller in these parts.." I watched the teal-haired prince move closer to that witch, I know what she's doing, why can't I tell him? Why, she told it to me, is this what she meant? Argh, I'm frustrated!

"So.. you seem like an enchantress here, this day couldn't get any better!" I watched Wallace as he goes and look at that witch... I don't like her, and I know what she's going to do..

"Yeah, I'm an enchantress. An assistant, actually. I'm not telling you who I work for, just for the charm of it, and by the way, I've seen some pretty amazing things in your life, Wallace."

"Really then? You can tell me about it-"

"Sorry river prince, but I don't have time for it. I'll go take my leave now. Bye!"

Zinnia disappeared in the shadows once more, and only after that I was able to speak again. Wallace's expression turned into a mildly curious one, while mine was a bitter one, tensed from that red enchantress, thinking she's great and all-knowing, she isn't. And whoever she's working for, I hope they'll be the one who'll get hit by my ace's Flash Cannon.

"Are you alright? It's still raining, even after that meeting." He looked at me, seeing that I was mad, I shook that emotion off my face.

"Yeah, I'm alright.. I just-" I paused, letting out a sigh full of concern.

"I'm worried, Wallace. Do you know how dangerous someone like Zinnia could be?"

"Well, yes, I'm aware, but I'm sure she's alright. She herself said she was a forest dweller. Do you mind if I can stay with you?"

I nodded, pushing what the witch mentioned about the curse at the back of my mind. Oh Wallace, if only...
