Eunjin POV

I wake up at 7am to the smell of fresh strawberry pancakes. I still cuddled in blankets and pillows. I turn to come face to face with the beaded eyes of Jimin's childhoods stuffed dog. Probably taking place of him. I smile poking its nose.

I stretch checking my phone for a few notifications, none from Sungho. I quickly check my schedule, starting at 10am. I breathe thankful I don't have to leave early.

"Good morning, Eun. I made your favorite, hope you enjoy." Jimin rests the plate on the table, I sit in front of it, thanking him and dove in.

"Hey, what drink do you want? Water, apple juice, or orange juice?" He asks looking into the fridge.

"Orange juice, please." I shout lightly. Him finally joining me with drinks and his own plate.

We eat, he finishes first, I go in for seconds since he made some extra.

Him and I end up on the couch talking for sometime before we start work.

"I know that you don't want to talk about it yet, but I need to check up on you. Are you doing ok with Sungho? I have seen some arguments between you both but this seems worse." He asks putting his cup down.

I sigh staring down at my orange juice, contemplating. I'll tell him a bit but not everything now. I know how he feels about him so if I say everything he would have a strong opinion which I am not sure I want to hear yet.

"We are doing fine for now, we talked it out mildly. I think this is just lasting longer than usual. I am just waiting for it to calm down."

He nods, thinking for a moment before he says anything, "Well tell me when you're ready, otherwise be safe, I am here for you. Josh, Wheein, and I are always here. So if it isn't me it can be one of them." He stares into my eyes relaying the message to my soul.

I relax my shoulders that have been tense. Smiling a bit wider with how he was serious but I just couldn't take it as seriously as I should.

He sees me holding in a laugh, "Eunjin."

"Sorry, I hear you, thank you, Jimin." I snap out of it, smiling at my best friend. He relaxes his seriousness, shaking his head.

"I need to get ready for work, will you leave or hang out for a bit?" Jimin says standing up, taking both of our drinks to the sink.

"I'll stay for a bit. Not ready for responsibilities yet." I say, leaning back on the couch, turning on the tv.

"Suit yourself, call me if you need anything." He shuts the door of his room. I putting on Train to Busan, relaxing.

Some minutes later Jimin comes out putting his shirt on. Going back and forth in the room frantic.

"You good?" I ask. He nods smiling.

"Ok, I gotta go, you know where the extra key is leave or stay whenever you need." He grabs his keys putting on his Nike Air Forces. I give him a thumbs up, watching the movie.

I hear a scoff, then my head against a chest. He was hugging me tightly. I smile wrapping my arms around tight.

"I am always here," I just hear him speak. Digging my face farther into his chest, "Whatever it is."

He pulls back to glance at me. Without realizing a tear came down, him pushing it away with his thumb. Taking one good look at me before patting my head and efficiently going out to work.

I was on my lunch break eating an almond croissant I took from Joshua. When I see someone from the corner of my eyes sitting beside me.

"How are you, Minghao?" I ask still facing forward, taking a bite of the pastry. He's been my coworker for a while. Sweet, introverted guy, we've worked on a couple projects together. He is dang good at his job.

"Not bad, came to give you some company and ask if you would like to join the company's dinner tonight." He turns to me, tilting his head to find my face.

I contemplated for a minute, I probably should be home to confront Sungho. I would usually go but knowing the situation it wouldn't be a good idea.

"Thanks, 8, but I have to pass." I see his slightly wide eyes. 8 is a random nickname that got caught on when one of his friends called him that.

"Really? You almost never pass up dinner, especially when it's the boss paying. You know, free food?"

"Yeah, unfortunately it's one of those days," I scratch my head, and shrug, "Eat for me though." I pat his shoulder.

"You sure?" I nod, "What are you doing tonight then? Maybe Jennie and I can pick you up and watch a movie? Sorry, I am not really comfortable with anyone else there than you both."

I sigh, I know them both the most, everyone else is more like an acquaintance. Even if I can converse with other people well.

I just wasn't sure to tell him why I can't go out tonight. Sure, I am close to him but not in the way like the other three.

"There's just some complications with Sungho I have to resolve at the moment. That's why I can't go out." I vaguely stated.

"Alrighty well, if you need anything just text us. Hope things go well." He smiles as we move onto a different topic till lunch ended.

Taking deep breaths. I stare at the front door of my shared apartment. Not knowing what I will hear. I anxiously put my hand on the knob turning it, opening the door.

I open the door to see...
