Eunjin POV

I woke up with a headache today and I felt bad because I had my appointment with Yoongi, which I now had to cancel. This was an important meeting based on my wedding planner since I had to complete the guest list and finalize the date of the wedding.

It was actually coming true, one of the things I dream about when I knew Sungho was the one. Yet, I always feel like I doubt myself whenever I say something like that.

Ring Ring

"This is Min Yoongi." I hear his comforting voice over the phone. I sigh for a second before responding.

"Hey, this is Eunjin, Yoongi." I really felt defeated today, lately these appointments have been a great safe haven for me. I don't know why.

"Yikes you don't sound good. Are you sick?" I nod which is practically useless over the phone but it seems he could see my nod through the phone, "Alright well get better, do you want me to send you anything to make you feel better?"

"I don't know if you coming over is a good idea." Wait he said 'send' oops. Before I could correct myself he does it for me.

"I will send it a small care package over not bring it to you Miss Kang. Will you accept my offer?" I pretend to debate but I knew my answer.

In a small squeaky voice I mumble, "Yes, please." I hear him chuckle I smile with him knowing I never really speak in that tone.

"Ok, what would you like?" My wedding planner who is acting like a friend today asks in a waiter voice, like he's taking my order.

"Can you get me Samgyetang and Jook, please? With kimchi and can I try your favorite snack?" I hear a deep sigh from him, "Why are you sighing?"

"Because no one really likes my snack recommendations but if you say so." I wait for a moment before he says, "Alright I hope it will be at your door soon. Same time next week if you are better?"

"Yes, and thank you Yoongi you're a lifesaver. I appreciate it."

"Please don't worry about it, I just want you to feel better than ever so we can tackle the next step. So rest and drink water."

I give a small salute in my bed, "Yes, Yoongi sir."

"Yeah.. don't say that I feel old." I could imagine him grimace at my action. I laugh a bit, "Whatever you say."

"Thanks? Anyways goodbye Miss Kang I'll see you next week."

"Bye Yoongi," I hang up the phone flopping on my back to stare at the ceiling. It took only 10 minutes before I heard the doorbell. I wrap myself up in blankets and pick up the food.

That was fast, I pull out the soup and savor the flavor. Why does it taste expensive? I pull out Yoongi's snack of choice, crab chips? I try a bit, not bad but not good. I laugh to myself before cuddling near the couch to binge watch My Lovely Liar.

After a couple of hours I decide to text Sungho to come home early because I was sick and kinda wanted someone's company.

Thankfully I also texted the group chat and Joshua came over to drop off some herbal tea for me.

"Thank you," I smile bright as I walk inside and my friend follows me inside with a black mask on.

"Don't worry about it, it's my day off from the Cafe after all." He pats my shoulder, walking past me to sit on the couch making himself comfortable, "What are we watching then?"

"I was watching My Lovely Liar but we can switch it to a different show if you want?" I place myself on the opposite side of the comforter.

He was giving some suggestions and I glance at the clock to see it was later in the afternoon, 4pm, "That sounds great let's watch."

"Alright, you sure it's fine that I stay until Sungho comes back?" His gentlemen instincts kick in. I wave my hand.

"Of course, he should be back by 8pm." Josh nods and we press play on the movie.

6pm...8pm...9pm...

"Hey, he isn't here yet do you want to text him?" He puts down his ramen to pause the new tv show we decided to watch.

"Yeah this is weird he's always home at 8pm otherwise he would have said something." I pull out my phone and there were no other notifications shown by him.

'Sungho? where are you? plz lmk asap.'

I get a bone chilling shake up my spine as if something was wrong. But I shake it off, hopefully he will respond within the next 30 minutes.

In the next 30 minutes nothing, I call him no response. I gulp, what's wrong with me. Why am I freaking out so much right now? I'll just wait till he comes home.

10pm...11pm....

Joshua gets up ready to leave, "I'm going to go, need anything before I go?" I shake my head, he smiles, then right when he is about to open the door. The man I was worrying over finally shows up.

"What are you doing here?" He speaks in almost disgust? Letting himself in slightly shoving Joshua out of the way.

"Doing your job by keeping her company, she's been worried about you." My best friend sasses back with the same attitude.

"Whatever, can you move?" My fiance rolls his eyes. Josh looked like he was about to throw hands. But I step in politely greeting him out and I close the door.

"When did you have the audacity to speak to him that way?" I gasp folding my arms in front of my chest.

"I can't deal with this right now, Babe. Later." He sighs, his back facing me as he was taking off his shoes.

"It's late and you didn't even text me you were going to be home later?" I put myself in front of him, I see his eyes glance down at me then steering away to go somewhere else.

"Answer me Sungho. I deserve that at most. Where were you?" I stay firm in my place as he was now in the kitchen. I block his only way out.

He just keeps silent, not this again. I'm not doing this again. He pushes past me, hard. I fall back a bit. Seriously?

"Sungho! If you tell me I won't get mad, I'm actually worried. You can tell me." Now I was desperate hoping something would click.

He was getting ready for bed as if I didn't exist, "So I'm forced to tell you everything yet you do this? Do you know how messed up that is?" I push my tears in, I needed to stay strong, but I didn't know that some were already falling out.

My tears finally hit him, he runs up to me, "I'm sorry, I had. I had a work dinner and had to turn off my notifications. Ok? So please stop crying." He hugs me.

Why was that so hard to say? Why did it take me crying for him to tell me? I don't get it, but as long as he is here.
