SPECIAL CHAPTER 7

"Baby, have you seen the keys anywhere?"

I asked Remi, as I was scrambling through the drawers. I was now panicking since I know for a fact that we are now late.

We are so in trouble once we get there.

"Hindi pa, are you sure it's not on the nightstand near the bed?"

"I've checked, wala doon."

Pumasok naman si Remi sa kwarto, "Did you check the cabinet?"

"Not yet." pumunta naman doon si Remi, as I continued to search at the drawers.

"Senia just texted me, asking where we are." Remi said.

"Did you reply?"

"Yeah I said we'll be late for a couple minutes..." I nodded and continued looking. I kneeled down and opened the last drawer.

"Are the others there already?"

"Yep, tayo na lang daw kulang."

Oh shi–

"Ugh, those damn freaking keys... saan ko ba yun nalagay?"  I was starting to get stressed.

"It's around here somewhere, baby... I'll look, and you continue to get ready, you haven't even worn your necktie yet."

"Sige..."

I went towards the bed, and grabbed the necktie laying there, trying to put it on. Fudge, paano ba kasi toh?

"Found it!"

Napatigil naman ako doon, and looked at Remi who was holding the keys, so they were in the cabinet. I can't help but smile... our eyes met, and she walked closer to me with a teasing look on her face as she saw me struggling.

She placed the keys on the bed, and helped me fix my tie, "Ang bagal mo talaga..." She said, chuckling.

"Hindi ba pwede na chansing lang ito para lumapit ka sa akin at tulungan mo ako..."

I saw her roll her eyes, making me chuckle... I cupped her cheeks, and gave her a peck. She lightly slapped my arm, and continued to fix my tie.

"May chansing ka pa nalalaman ngayon, eh malapit na tayo ma late sa kasal nila Andy, mabatukan ka nun..."

"Mabuti nga na hindi yun late sa sariling kasal niya." She shook her head, smiling, "Damn, I can imagine him panicking right now."

"Says the person na parang mahihimatay sa araw ng kasal niya."

"Mrs. Cameron talaga, mahilig mang asar."

"That's because I love you..." She pats my tux, napatingin naman ako, and saw that it was all done, "There, all done."

She smiled, our eyes met, she leaned in and gave me a kiss on the lips, "Let's go?"

Tumango naman ako, I got the keys on the bed, and grabbed our things, and we were on our way to the reception.

I'm so excited for my two friends.
