CHAPTER 10

HER

"Wait lang Sist, malapit na ako matapos."

Napatingin ako kay Senia, she was double checking her things on her bag. I was waiting for Senia to finish getting ready for the party, pasalamat talaga si Senia na hindi ko siya matitiis kaya ako pumayag samahan siya, tsk.

I don't really like going, especially parties like this. I'm just going because of her, ayaw ko na man kasi hayaan 'tong babae na 'to gumala na walang adult supervision. Sa aming dalawa ako lang ang mature and it's a fact. Besides, it's not that bad, it's... kinda fun, as long as I'm with Senia and the other guys...

Sky texted me that they've already arrived, and kami na lang ni Senia hinihintay nila. Luckily, ihahatid naman daw kami ni Tito doon.

Speaking of Tito, we heard him knock on the door, "Selene, mahiya ka sa kaibigan mo, kanina pa naghihintay sayo."

"Daddy naman eh." Senia whines, I rolled my eyes with a smile.

"Di bagay sayo magpa-cute Sen." I joked, making Senia glare and throwing a cotton ball on my way. I laughed at that.

After waiting for like a billion years, Senia was finally done and so we headed out and got inside the car. When we arrived, Tito instructed us to be careful and to call him if it was time to go home. Tumango naman kami ni Senia, and bid Tito goodbye then we went inside the house. We immediately saw Andy standing outside the door, and I think he was waiting for us.

"Buti nandito na kayo." Andy whispered as he moved closer to Senia's side.

"Buti hindi ka late!" Senia answered back, making me chuckle.

When Andy glared at her, she ruffled his hair. Umiwas na lang ako ng tingin, and went ahead of them to find the others. When I spotted them, they were all crowding the couch, and damn... there's a lot of people here...

"Dali! Kanina pa kayo hinihintay nila Ari noh." I heard Andy say who was now beside me with Senia. Lumapit muna kami ni Senia kay Matt who was holding a pitcher filled with water. I hesitated a bit, but Senia is really pushing me forward still.

"Happy birthday..." I said, smiling as I felt a bit awkward. I handed him the gift I bought, and same goes with Senia.

"Happy birthday~" She greeted, with a beam and gave him a pat on the back.

My eyes widened at that but then I remembered this is Senia we're talking about... this girl is really extroverted, it sometimes surprises me.

"Nako, nag-abala pa kayo sa regalo, pero salamat!" He said as he got the gift, "Wala naman traffic pagpunta dito?"

"Wala naman." Senia answered, tumango na lang din ako.

"Ah, mabuti naman... kain na kayo." He said, pag-aya niya sa amin. 

Binigyan niya kami ng plato, and lead us to where the table filled with all kinds of food, I immediately spotted the lumpia, hindi talaga mawawala yan kahit ano mang paghahanda.

Suddenly Andy pops out of nowhere, going in between Senia and Matt, and parang nagulat si Matt, he stumbles back causing me to hold out my arm and support him. He mumbles a 'sorry' and a 'thanks', I shook my head and looked at Andy and was about to call him out on his action but–

"Nakalimutan ko pala ibigay..." Andy said, smiling at Matt. Because of that, I decided to just shrug it off and continue to get my food.

Ngumiti naman pabalik si Matt, nung umalis na si Matt para iligpit niya ang mga regalo niya at binati ang iba pa niyang mga bisita na kakarating lang din ata. Sumabay naman si Andy sa amin sa pagkuha, kasi sabi niya hindi pa siya nag-kuha ng pagkain dahil hinintay pa niya kami, like, loyal much?
