It's been a few weeks since the "incident" and you, Phoenix and Jett have been confined to headquarters with the exception of missions until the attention dies down. You're playing some League of Legends with Killjoy near the locker area. Since you enjoyed Arcane you wanted to try it out and Killjoy wanted to be the one to introduce you to the game. To Killjoy's surprise, you end up picking up the game quickly. You're just getting invested when you get a mission alert on your laptop.
MISSION ALERT: BENNET ISLAND, RUSSIA
You apologize to Killjoy for the abrupt pause on the gaming session and tell her about the mission.
"Well don't just stand there, go get ready!"
You nod and run to your room to get ready. You use your water tentacle ability to grab your gear while you change out of your casual clothing. You quickly put on your mission suit and you report to the hangar. Brimstone fills you in on what will happen on the mission since Phoenix hasn't yet arrived. Phoenix shows up and you both sprint into the Vulture. The Vulture lifts of the ground and takes off as you and Phoenix grab some firearms.
15 minutes later
You're running across the outskirts of the Russian kingdom radianite facility. It's cold, snowy and windy. Your mission suit has been modified for the temperature. You position yourself behind some enormous storage units stacked on top of eachother. You have your Phantom in hand and are shivering due to the cold. Your goal is to defuse and obtain the spike if possible. You're working with a possible new recruit who calls himself Yoru. Brimstone sent him out with you to prove himself as he apparently knows this area quite well.
"You in position yet?" Phoenix asks over the coms.
"Working on it." Yoru responds
"What's taking so long, I thought you knew this place." Phoenix says, slightly annoyed
"I do, don't rush me. What about you Rain?"
"One second." You respond.
You need to be on top of the storage units. You create a pillar of ice beneath you to lift yourself up to the top and once you're on top you crouch down so that you can't be seen easily.
"Ready" You continue.
"Ugh, we don't have time. I'm going in." Phoenix says after you get in position.
"Do that, and you're gonna get a bullet in your head." Yoru warns
"Please. Let me show you how the boss does it."
"No Phoenix, stick to the plan." You advise as you hear him power up over the coms.
"Phoenix, don't" Yoru backs you up.
He doesn't respond so you look across the sea of storage units and radiant crates and then you see it. Phoenix's fire wall. You see mirror Viper and Jett turn in his direction and start shooting. You stand up and aim at Viper's head with your gun when you hear Yoru. You look over at him as he enters the scene through a rift and shoots at the air. You look over at where he shot and see a limp Cypher with a sniper fall from the top of another storage unit.
The enemy agents turn their attention to their deceased comrade and Jett jumps on to a storage unit suspended in the air. She sees you and begins to fire as you run across the storage units. You cover yourself with your water wall as you keep running but right as you reach the edge you have an idea. You enter your invincible state and stop for a second to return fire. A few bullets pass through you but you graze her face with a bullet and manage to hit Jett's shoulder. She drops her rifle as she cries out in pain. You return to your normal state and do your best to run to a new position. That ability was always really tiring.
