Hargrove's Household
。.✦ ☾
Neil Hargrove's car slowly pulls up to the aging house. Both Susan and himself exit out of the car and carry in their bags. The two place them down on the kitchen table. Susan looks up and she calls out, "Hey, guys, we're home." Waiting to see the red hair of her only daughter.
When she receives no response, "Guys?" Susan asks, confused. She steps further into the living room. "Hello?" Susan calls out.
....
Susan pushes open her daughter's bedroom door, peering in. All she sees is Max's messed up skateboard and a wide-open window. The yellow curtains softly flowed from the gentle pressure of the wind. Susan sighs and she makes her way over, sliding down the window, shutting it.
....
The Four Horsemen played in Billy's bedroom. It played loud enough that he didn't hear their arrival.
Billy steps closer to his mirror, placing a cigarette in between his lips and lighting it. Billy snaps the lighter shut and he softly moves his head with the music, tilting it back and taking a long drag of his cigarette. He brings a hand up and pulls the cigarette from his lips.
Billy sighs as the smoke leaves his lungs. He begins banging his head softly with the music. Billy smirks as he stares at himself in the mirror, grabbing a hair product from his drawer, and using it to spray his blond hair. He reaches up and fixes a few strands of hair.
He reaches over and he grabs his cologne, putting some onto his wrists. He brings his wrists up to his neck and he rubs it along his throat. After a moment, he smirks and pushes past his jeans and he rubs his length, pressing the cologne onto his dick. Billy sighs in pleasure.
Finally pulling his hand out, Billy checks himself out, smirking and softly shaking his hips. He places the cigarette back in between his lips and he softly drags it, winking at himself.
Tonight he's going to fuck Darian Wheeler, he knew he screwed up with the way he had left things. They had a good time, but now isn't the time for feelings.
He wants to know how those perfect red lips would feel around his dick. He's been fantasizing about it for a while. "Come on Hargrove." Billy whispers to himself, smirking.
Suddenly, Susan softly knocks on his bedroom door. Susan calls over the music. "Billy?" Susan asks
Billy looks at the door through the mirror. "Yeah, I'm a little bit busy in here, Susan." Billy answers "Open the door. Right now." Neil yells, his voice filled with anger.
Billy sighs, staring at himself one last time before, taking a long drag of his cigarette. He pulls it from his lips and puts it on his ashtray, standing and making his way towards the door.
Billy reaches over and he opens the door. "What's wrong?" Billy asks, annoyed. Neil was just as annoyed, "why don't you tell us?" Neil asks
"Because I don't know." Billy states "We can't find Maxine." Susan says "and her windows open." Neil says
Billy looks away, annoyed. But he curses himself inside his head. "Where is she?" Neil asks "I don't know." Billy replies
Neil shakes his head, irritated. "You don't know?" Neil asks, scoffing. Billy sighs, shifting. "Look, I'm sure she just, I don't know, went to the arcade or something." Billy says, walking away from the door and making his way towards his closets.
Neil follows after him. "You were supposed to watch her." Neil says, watching as Billy pulls something out of the closet. Billy sighs to himself, looking down. "I know, Dad. I was." Billy says, pulling on his leather jacket. "It's just you guys were three hours late, and, well, I have a date." Billy says, turning around and pulling his hair out from his jacket. "I'm sorry." Billy says, pulling at the sleeves.
Neil crossed his arms. "That's why you've been staring at yourself in the mirror like some faggot instead of watching your sister?" Neil asks
That pisses Billy off. "I have been looking after her all week, Dad. Okay?" Billy exclaims, Billy motions with his hand, growing angrier by the second, effectively pissing Neil off. "She wants to run off, then that's her problem, all right?" Billy says
Neil looks down, licking along the inside of his mouth. "She's 13 years old. She shouldn't need a full-time babysitter. And she's not my sister!" Billy exclaims, moving towards his stereo, and clicking it off. Suddenly Neil lunges forward, eyes ablaze. Neil shoves Billy into the shelves. Billy grunts in pain. Neil pants.
Neil tilts his head. "What did we talk about?" Neil asks, watching as Billy glares. Wrong move. Neil punches Billy across the face, making Susan look away. Billy groans. Neil forces his chin up, meeting his eyes. "What did we...talk about?" Neil asks, punctuating each word.
Billy stares Neil down. "Respect and responsibility." Billy answers "That is right." Neil says, enjoying the power he holds. "Now, apologize to Susan." Neil orders
Both were breathing heavily. Susan looks down. "I'm sorry, Susan." Billy says, his voice low. "It's okay, Neil, really-" Neil cuts her off. "No, it's not okay. Nothing about his behavior is okay." Neil says, slowly he pulls back. "But he's going to make up for it." Neil states, eyes gleaming with anger, pulling back and turning towards his wife. "He's gonna call whatever whore he's seeing tonight and cancel their date." Neil states as if he solved everything. "And then he's gonna find his sister." Neil states, turning his head back towards Billy. "Like the good, kind, respecting brother that he is." Neil says
Billy stares at him, still pressed up against the shelves, his chest rising and falling in anger. "Isn't that right, Billy?" Neil asks, when he doesn't get a response, he raises his voice. "Isn't that right?" Bringing his face closer to his son.
Billy continues to stare at him, his nostrils flaring. "Yes, sir". Billy says, softly. Neil sighs deeply, craning his neck. "I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you." Neil whispers "Yes, sir." Billy states, speaking up.
"Find Max." Neil orders, staring before turning and walking away. Susan moves out of his way as he leaves. Billy stares after him, closing his eyes once the door closes. He covers his face in frustration, holding back any tears threatening to escape.
