Everyone was making their way through the graveyard. "You're positive that was Dart?" Lucas asks "Yes, he had the same exact yellow pattern on his butt." Dustin says, already tired over this same argument. Darian hums. "That's cute." Darian hums, even though seconds ago he was ready to puke his guts out.
Max shakes her head confused, "He was tiny two days ago." Max says "We'll, he's molted three times already." Dustin says
Steve looks at him confused. "Molted?" Steve asks "Molted." Dustin reinforces. Steve continues to stare at him confused. "Shed his skin to make room for growth like hornworms." Dustin says
"When's he gonna molt again?" Darian asks "It's gotta be soon." Dustin answers "When he does, he'll be fully grown, or close to it." Dustin says, staring at the ground, making sure he doesn't trip. "And so will his friends." Dustin says
Steve grimaces, confused and worried. "Yeah, and he's gonna eat a lot more than just cats." Steve says, tilting his head towards Dustin. Lucas suddenly stops them, grabbing Dustin's arms. "Wait, a cat?" Lucas asks "Dart ate a cat?" Lucas asks again
"No, what? No." Dustin says, making Darian look at him confused. "What are you talking about, he ate Mews." Steve clearly not reading the room. Darian sighs shaking his head.
"Mews? Who's Mews?" Max asks "It's Dustin's cat." Darian answers "Darian!" Dustin exclaims, hoping to cut him off.
Lucas suddenly shoves him, upset. "I knew it! You kept him!" Lucas exclaims, Dustin shakes his head. "No!" Dustin exclaims Lucas tilts his head, waiting for a proper answer.
Darian, Steve, and Max watch him struggle. "No, I...No, I...He missed me. He wanted to come home." Dustin says "bullshit!" Lucas exclaims
"I didn't know he was a Demogorgon, okay?" Dustin says "Oh, so now you admit it?" Lucas asks, pissed. "Guys, who cares? We have to go." Max says, annoyed with the both of them. "I care! You put the party in jeopardy! You broke the rule of law!" Lucas exclaims "So did you!" Dustin yells
The other three watch with annoyance and confusion. "What?" Lucas asks "You told a stranger the truth!" Dustin yells, flashing Max with the flashlight, and making her lean back with a grimace. Max scoffs, looking at him angrily. "A stranger?" Max exclaims, stepping closer.
"You wanted to tell her, too!" Lucas yells "But I didn't, Lucas, okay?" Dustin yells
Darian shakes his head and he looks up at Steve, smirking. "Ahh children." Darian breathes, Steve chuckles, smirking at him.
Suddenly there was a screeching in the distance.
Steve and Darian look up confused. The fighting continues in the background. "We both broke the rule of law, okay? So we're even, we're even." Dustin states
Steve steps closer into the woods, looking around. Darian stood beside him, just as concerned. "Hey guys!" Steve calls out, reaching over and placing a hand on Darian's chest, stopping him in his tracks. The teens continue to ignore him, still arguing.
"Guys!" Steve shouts, turning to the three, making Darian blink rapidly in shock. He yelled right up in his ear. The three freeze and turn towards him. The screeching continues.
Steve slowly swings his bat and he makes his way towards the noise, the party following him. "No, no, no. Hey, guys, why are you headed towards the sound?" Max asks, standing back, watching as everyone runs off.
"Hello?" Max calls out. She calls out one more time. Max curses under her breath, running after them.

The party makes their way through the woods, their flashlights shining past the shrubs. They stare off, searching for the noise. "I don't see them." Dustin says, all of them stopping at a clearing.
Lucas lifts his binoculars, peering off towards the distance. "It's the lab." Lucas says, spotting a building. He lowers the binoculars. The party turns to him, confused. "They were going back home." Lucas says
"Fuck." Dustin curses.

A car pulls up to the gates of the lab.
Jeffery Byers turns the engine off, making Nancy and Jonathan turn to him. "Why are you stopping?" Nancy asks "Come on." Jeffery orders, exiting the car.
The two follow after him. "Why are the lights off?" Jonathan asks "Maybe it's closed?" Nancy asks, staring at the gate. Jeffery scoffs. "Security took the night off?" Jeffery asks sarcastically.
Nancy stares at the back of his head, she then meets Jonathan's gaze. Jeffery really did change, he wasn't the same since Barb. They tried giving him closure, but Jeffery wanted to find her, he wanted her alive.
He gave himself hope, saying that there was no body. So she has to be alive. "I don't think so." Jeffery snarks
Jonathan sighs and he enters the security booth, pressing a red button, trying to get the gate open. Nancy makes her way over while Jeffery scopes out the gate, keeping watch.
Jonathan continues messing with the switches. "It's not working?" Nancy asks "No! The powers off." Jonathan grunts
"Jonathan? Nancy?" Jeffery calls out, making them look up. "What?" Jonathan asks
There was rustling within the woods. Jeffery makes his way over towards them, softly grabbing Nancy's wrist. "I think there's something in the woods." Jeffery whispers, turning back to the woods.
The three of them walk towards the gate. Jonathan softly grabs her elbow. "Nancy, stay back." Jonathan whispers
The three of them walk through a gap in the fence. "Hello?" Jeffery calls out, spotting light peaking through the bushes. "Who's there?" Jonathan calls out "Who's there!?" Raising his voice, no reply.
Suddenly, Steve appears, leading the charge. Jeffery, Nancy, and Jonathan stare confused and shocked. "Steve?!" They exclaim
"Nancy?" Darian and Steve ask, "Jonathan? Jeffery?" Dustin asks "What are you doing here?" Nancy asks, marching towards her brother. "What are you doing here?" Darian asks, grabbing his sister's arm, and bringing her into a hug.
Nancy laughs, only to pull back, growing serious. "We're looking for Mike and Will." Nancy says "What?" Darian asks, confused and scared for his brother. "They're not in there, are they?" Dustin asks
"We're not sure." Nancy answers "Why?" Jonathan asks
Suddenly they hear a monster screech, making them all turn and stare at the lab. "Fuck me." Jeffery hisses
