The Wheelers

。.✦ ☾

The group comes out of the garage and all hop into the Wheeler Wagon. Nancy is driving, Jamie in the passenger seat. Max, Jonathan, Eleven, and Lucas are the first to get in the back seat. Which leaves ...

"Seriously?" Mike groans

Will looks over at him with a grimace. "Welcome to my world." Will sighs. Kurt grumbles, earning a cheeky grin from his sister.

Will, Kurt, and Mike reluctantly get into the Wagon's trunk seats.

Nancy glances behind her: "Seat belts." Nancy asks

The kids do as they're told.

Throwing it into reverse, Nancy clumsily backs up - taking out the kids' bicycles in the process, earning whines from the group.

Ignoring them, Nancy and the Wheeler Wagon tear out of the driveway.

....

Death Star Hallway.

Dustin, Robin, Steve, and Erica are making the trek down the long, very long hallway. "You have to admit as a feat of engineering alone, this is impressive." Dustin says, admiring the walls, eyes wide and in awe.

"What are you talking about, it's a total fire hazard. There's no stairs, there's no exit, there's just an elevator that drops you halfway to hell." Steve says, bumping his shoulder into Dustin's. Erica rolls her eyes. "They're Commies. You don't pay people, they cut corners." Erica says

Robin shrugs. "To be fair to our Russian comrades, I don't think this tunnel was designed for walking. Think about it, they developed the perfect system for transporting that cargo." Robin says "It all comes into the mall like any old delivery." Jeffery says

"And then they load it up onto those trucks and nobody's the wiser." Robin says "You think they built this whole mall so they can transport that green poison?" Jeffery says

Dustin snorts. "I very seriously doubt it's something as boring as poison. It's gotta be much more valuable, like promethium or something." Dustin says

Jeffery looks at him confused, his eyebrow-raising towards his hairline. "What the hell is promethium?" Jeffery asks

Robin answers for him. "It's what Victor Stone's dad used to make Cyborg's bionic and cybernetic components." Robin says, throwing him a cheeky grin. Jeffery hums before playfully shoving her.
