I won't give up (Completed)

Chapter 1.

"My parents wanted to come and see you." She said as she imagined facepalming herself from saying that. That was so stupid.

He smiled brightly at her parents and hugged them too. "It's been so long Jungkook, I'm so happy for you and everything you've been able to accomplish." Her mother said and even though it wasn't that cringy, she couldn't help but think that she was making a scene.

"Thank you." He said and then he looked at her "It's been really a long time, I'm so happy to see you here." He paused as he then remembered something. "I saw that you came by to one of my concerts." 

She felt herself blush and she was hoping no one noticed. "Yeah, my very good friend from university is a very big fan of your band." She replied, because she knew she couldn't say that she was a fan too. "Actually, I was wondering if we could take a picture together? And maybe you could say something her?" 

Her heart couldn't be beating any louder, she couldn't even hear what she was saying as all she could hear was her heart. "Sure." He smiled at her and she passed her phone to her mother and she could see her hands trembling more. She was feeling so self conscious as he was having his arm around her shoulder, ready to take the picture. 

Flashbacks of when they first met began to come to her head, she tried to stay in the present, but feeling his touch on her body after so many years, made her remember what she felt for him and that it hasn't changed. 

*Flashback*

"Is it them?" Maya ask her best friend, as they looked at the photo in their phone. 

"How come we are the ones meeting with them when we didn't met them at the party last night?" Victoria, her best friend since childhood, ask as they tried to figure out if it was him. 

"We are 13 Tori, we need to have more boy friends because it's time to be social." Maya replied. "Yes! It is him!" 

The two of them began to walk towards him and he smiled brightly at them. "You must be Maya and Victoria." He said. 

"Yeah and you must be Jungkook." Victoria said since Maya suddenly felt like she was now nervous and couldn't register words in her mind. 

"Nice, to meet you." He said as he shook both her hands. 

"You too." Maya managed to say. 

"Where are your other friends?" Victoria ask. 

"They must be coming soon, should we go to your house then?" Jungkook ask to Victoria, and she nodded. 

"Yeah, let's go." 

The three of them went to Victoria's apartment and went to the balcony. It was a pretty chilly night, not too cold but not too hot and it was perfect. With the moon reflecting brightly in the sky and the stars shining above them. 

"The sky is beautiful." Jungkook commented as he looked at the view. It was a pretty good view. 

"Yeah. I love the moon. I guess it's my favorite part of the sky." Maya said as she was now feeling more comfortable. Maya then noticed that Victoria wasn't there but in the kitchen, getting some drinks for them. 

"Really? My favorite part of the sky are the stars. So I guess we complement each other." Jungkook said as he looked at her and she smiled, nodding her head. 

"I guess so." Victoria came with the drinks and they sat down. 

"You sang last night, right?" Jungkook asked Victoria. "At the party." 

"Yeah, but I don't usually do that. I always get too nervous." She said and Maya could see that she was getting nervous again just by the thought of it. 

"You were amazing though. Have you taken classes?" Victoria nodded as she sipped a bit from her soda. 

"I sing too." He said and she looked at him in surprise, so did Maya. 

"Really? You should sing something for us." Tori said. 

"I also get a bit nervous though... maybe we should talk about something else." He said as he laughed it off and they began to talk about other stuff, getting to know each other until the rest of his friends came.

"Your house is pretty cool." The guy named Namjoon said to Victoria and she smiled proudly. 

"Thanks, my mom always does the decorations but I always help her out." 

"So you're into art?" Victoria nodded and he smiled at her. 

"I'm into art too." Taehyung said as he joined the conversation. 

Meanwhile, Jungkook and Maya had been talking none stop on the balcony, getting to know each other although it felt as though they already knew each other in another universe. 

"We should hang out again tomorrow." Maya suggested, hoping it didn't sound too soon. 

"Of course, this has been pretty fun." He said and smiled at her. That smile was killing her, she was not gonna lie. 

"We are going to watch a movie in my living room, do you wanna join us?" Victoria ask as she looked at the both of them. "The others are already there." 

"Do you want too?" He ask Maya and she nodded. 

"Yeah, let's go." They both stood up and went to Victoria's living room and sure enough everyone else was there. 

There were only two spots left so she ended up in the couch with Jungkook beside her, their bodies touching and she felt herself relax more. 

"Let's begin." Victoria smiled as she played the movie and gave popcorn to the everyone else.
