Chapter 6.

*Flashback*

Maya's POV 

It's my birthday today and not even Hoseok had wished me a happy birthday. 

Looking at my phone again, making sure I was not mistaken, I sigh as I saw the empty messages. Not even Tori. 

I know Tori forgets stuff all the time, but it is not like her to forget my birthday when we talked about it yesterday. 

"What's wrong?" My mother asked as she sat down besides me on my bed. 

"Not one of my friends had wished me a happy birthday." I told her. "It's already 7pm. My birthday is almost over." 

"Well, I¡m not sure why they haven't wished you a happy birthday, but I know something that will make you happy." My mom said and I looked at her with curious eyes. "There's a present for you outside the door." 

Feeling excited now I stood up and opened the door without thinking twice about it and indeed, there was a huge surprise for me outside. 

"SURPRISE!" All of the guys plus Tori, where outside my house. Since I was not expecting that and I get scared with everything, I screamed in surprised and almost closed the door on their faces, but I stoped myself before doing that and was greeted by lots and lots of hugs. 

"Guys you scared the CRAP out of me!" I said as I hugged them all back. My heart was racing like crazy and I wished my mother would've filmed this moment, so I could go back and looked at it whenever I feel down. 

Because I know that this moment won't last forever and this is the happiest I'm going to be for a long time. 

"Hehe sorry. We just wanted to surprise you." Tori said as she smiled at me proudly at herself. 

"It was so hard not wishing you a happy birthday because I know how much you hate it when people forget." Hoseok said as he put his arm around my shoulder and I still felt like I just run a whole mile. 

"To be honest I was so sad. Don't do that ever again!" I said as I playfully slapped Hoseok and he acted all dramatically, pretending to faint in Jimin's arms. 

"Your reaction was hilarious! You were about to shut the door in our faces!" Jin said as he couldn't stop laughing with Taehyung and Yoongi. 

"It was all Tori's idea by the way." Jungkook said and I smiled as I went to hug Tori again. 

"Thank you." I whisper to her and I could feel her smiling through the hug. 

"So, let's go to our special place!" Hoseok said and everyone agreed. And I knew just what that special place was. 

"ICE CREAM!" Taehyung yelled as he took Tori and carried her like he was a horse and she was riding him. They are cute sometimes, I'm gonna admit it. 

I shook my head as all of us began to walk in the night, with the stars above. Going to our favorite Ice-scream place. Although people might find it weird that we have desert first, that's our tradition. 

Always desert first. 

I was walking besides Jungkook now, as the rest were in pairs or trios. 

"Were you surprised?" Jk asked as he nudged my side, making me smile slightly at the gesture. 

"Very. I think you could tell." I said as I laughed a bit, my heart feeling so so happy. "Thank you. I'm pretty sure you contributed to the idea." 

"Well, to be honest, Tori was indeed the first one to think about it. But she didn't know how to do it and I thought that just doing it simple, would be enough for you." He answered and honestly he was right. It was best to do it simple, instead of a big party with people I wouldn't even know. 

"You know me well." 

"I know you the best." He replied as he looked straight to my eyes, making the butterflies in my stomach go crazy. 

I look down at the ground as we kept walking, feeling my cheeks turning red. 

"Yay we are here!" Jimin said and in that moment, in our happy place, we were so so happy. 

As we all selected the ice-screams we wanted and the toppings in them, Jungkook said "Let's sing Maya a happy birthday!" 

I could feel myself blushing uncontrollably as everyone began to sing, even the people who where there that didn't knew me, making me feel a bit embarrassed but also so loved. 

When they finished singing and the awkward part stoped and everyone resumed their conversations, I slapped Jungkook playfully "You idiot, that was embarrassing." I told him and he just laughed at my reaction. 

"You were so red, it was hilarious." 

I shook my head as I whisper "I hate you" but with a smile on my face and actually thinking 'I so like you'.
