Jungkook's POV
"Are you ready?" Namjoon asked as he knocked softly on my door. I was trying to tie my tie but it was almost impossible with the tears running down my face. It's as if I'll never stop crying.
Shaking my head I heard him sigh as he made his way towards me and helped me out. "Here." He helped me and I felt numb. Although I was crying, it's as if that's the only feeling I've ever known.
"Everyone is waiting downstairs, ready to go." Nodding my head he left my room without saying anything else. They've all gave me space, knowing that I just wanted to be alone.
Taking my phone out I looked at the picture that we took together the first time we met again after years of not seeing each other. I was so nervous that day when I saw her, but somehow it felt like deja vu. Like I belonged to her all along and I knew my feelings for her never changed.
She looked so happy that day and I could tell she was nervous too just by the way she gave her phone to her mom so she could take it. When she passed her phone her hands trembled. It was so cute how nervous she was.
What she didn't know is that I was nervous too and I never got to tell her that.
I never got to tell her so many things.
"I'm sorry I made you feel like I've given up on us." I whisper as more tears streamed down my face and onto my phone.
Sighing, I tried my best to look strong, or at least the best I could in the mirror. "Let's get this over with."

"We are here to say goodbye to our beloved Maya." One of Maya's uncle said, as he was the one giving the ceremony. I look at the back and saw Tori with her family. So many people came, I'm sure none of them knew her like I did.
"Maya was too young, it almost seems like God had another plan but failed and this is what happened instead." He continued. "However, one thing Maya always believed in was that everything happens for a reason. Just like her grandma taught her. So let's hope that indeed, this happened for a reason and that she's happy whenever she is."
The silence was too overwhelming. All I could hear was crying, but the one that hurt the most was Maya's nephew's cry. He was only 2 years old, but he still knew that this was probably one of the worst moments of his life.
"Now, some of Maya's friends and family members wanted to say a few words. Tori, you can come up now." I looked at Tori again and she nodded as she stood up and made her way up towards the casket. I noticed she couldn't look at it and I get why.
She took the mic and cleared her throat. She looked somewhere close to me and I guessed she looked at Tae. He was giving her support.
"I knew Maya since we were 13 years old." She began. "I went to her school after I got bullied in the other one. But somehow, Maya always made me feel included since the very start. We didn't really knew each other, but it's as if our hearts did knew that we were going to be best friends."
She was trying so hard not to cry, but she was failing. "She was the most wholesome person I've ever met, that's the best way to describe her. She was always trying her best to make everyone happy, she always always put everyone else before her first." I looked at Jin in that moment and I saw him closing his eyes as he thought the same thing as me, she never put herself first.
"I will always remember her laugh, how insecure she felt sometimes when she had to socialize but still do it amazing because everyone loves her. How she would always talk about her nephew's and her eyes would sparkle. They were her biggest source of happiness." She indeed always wanted to be an aunt. Since the first time I met her she always said she had so many sisters but none of them had a kid yet.
