I won't give up (Completed)

Chapter 16.

Maya's POV 

"Maya stop this." I then heard Jin say before I was making my way towards the door. My heart was hurting so much, but I just can't let them see me like this, so I kept my back facing them. "Listen to what Jungkook said and what Hoseok and all of us are feeling right now. You can't just walk away and expect us to let you."

"Please, let us help you." Namjoon said.

My legs gave up beneath me, making me fall to my knees as I put my hands on my face, covering it while tears began to stream down my face. I wasn't aware of the fact that all the boys began to come around me until I felt pairs of arms surrounding me. 

"Shhhh it's going to be okay." I heard Hoseok say. "We will help you. You need to let us help you..." 

"You kind of don't have a choice anymore." I heard Jimin said while laughing a bit and I laughed a bit with them too while still crying. 

I haven't been this vulnerable since that one time... and even now I haven't hurt myself like I did back then. 

I've thought about it, but I couldn't bring myself to do it again. 

"We got you." Jin said next and I sniffled as it looked like finally my tears had stopped. 

I look around me and the guys were all crying with me. "Why are you all crying?" I asked while laughing a bit, wiping the last reminding tears off my face. 

"We can't help it.  We care too much about you and it hurts us to see you hurt." Hobi said as he wipe some tears too. 

"Are you ready to let us love you like you should?" Jungkook asked. Making my heart start beating again out of instinct by his words. 

I nodded even though I was not sure, but I have to let myself heal. 

"Good. We have a lot of things planned." Taehyung said as he smiled and put his arm around my shoulders. 

I've never been this close to Taehyung before, but I guess our friendship will change now for the better. 

"But first, you should call Tori." He said, "She's been worried sick about you." 

"Wait, are you two talking again?" I asked him and he nodded while smiling and even blushing a bit. 

"Yeah, she's been hanging out with all of us for a while now." 

I smile as I'm very much happy that Tori has been with them. 

"Look um Maya, I'm sorry for what I said that day... I know I'm part of the reason why you decided to isolate yourself. But I promise I regretted it the moment I said it to you." Namjoon suddenly said and I could tell he was feeling guilty. "We all care about you a lot. You've been a friend of ours since the beginning and it wasn't right of me to tell you those things." 

"It's fine Joon, we are passed that. Don't worry." I told him and he had such a huge relief that he came towards me and hugged me. 

"He has been hating himself since the moment we all found out what he did. He didn't noticed it could've come out so harsh until he told us." Hoseok explained and I smile a bit as I hugged him back. 

Separating from the hug, I look at all of them and Taehyung had his phone out already dialing Tori. He had it in video call so we all could see her. 

"Hey Tae." Tori said as soon as she answered, which was pretty quick. "How's New Zealand? Have you been able to see Maya?" She wasn't looking at her screen, so she didn't noticed I was standing right besides him. 

"Hey um you might want to check your screen." He said and she immediately looked confused. 

"What? Why- OH MY GOD MAYA!" I laughed a bit at her reaction, she was so happy to see me and I immediately felt so bad. "DON'T DO THAT AGAIN! I WON'T LET YOU!" 

"I'm sorry." I told her "I made a mistake, I'm sorry I made you feel like a bad friend." 

"I'm just glad you are okay." She said and I could tell she was being honest. "How did you all ended up together though? That was fast." 

"It was on accident actually." Jungkook said, "I went to the store to buy some food and Maya was also at the same store. We kind of bumped into each other." 

I nodded as I tried not to blush. "Awww well then it was destiny. The world wanted you all to meet again and I'm happy it happened that way." 

I heard Jin and Jimin talking slowly at the back of the room. None of the others were paying attention because they kept talking to Tori. "She doesn't need to know how bad Maya looks right now. She will just worry more and will want to come here but she doesn't have enough money. So I don't think it's a good idea to tell her exactly what happened." 

"Yeah, I agree, let's not tell her." 

"Hopefully Jungkook doesn't give too much info." 

Do I look that bad? 

"I-I'm gonna go the bathroom, if that's okay?" I said and Hoseok nodded. 

"Here, follow me." He said and I told Tori I would call her later. "Are you okay?" 

"Yeah, it's just too much to take in... I can't believe I put you all through this." I said as I felt embarrassed. They saw me actually crying and screaming and beating myself up for everything I've done. 

"It's fine Maya, stop with that and stop saying sorry. We care, we all do, so don't feel bad." He said as I followed him to the bathroom. "Here it is." He said as he opened the door for me. 

"Thanks." 

He nodded as he left me alone to finally let all of this sink in. 

I'm with them again. I'm in the same house as Jungkook.
