*One Year Later*
*You're getting ready for work at Family Video. You tie the black bandana around your head like a headband. You haven't taken it off since that night*
*Steve sees you walk into work*
"Hey!" Steve waves at you as you walk into work. Steve has been your best friend since high school. You're both very close.
"Hey Steve how was it this morning?" Knowing it sucked and that it was slow
"You know kinda slow no one wants movies for the morning" No one ever wants to rent a movie in the morning what's the point?
"* laughs* all well i'm here now for the afternoon. Robin should be here soon" You say with a smile on your face knowing he hates that he works the sucky shift and you get the best shift.
"Can we please switch ??" Steve starts to beg. His eyes go wide like a puppy dog.
"No way! I love the evening shifts and i get to spend it talking to Robin" You say enjoying his frustration.
*Robin walks in*
"Hey guys!" She yells all happy and pepped. Meaning she had a good date with a certain girl last night
S: Hi Robin *he sounds relieved as he can go home now*
"He trying to get you to switch again?" She says with a massive grin knowing that the both of you prefer the afternoon shift.
"Yes but i'm not budging" You say grinning back
"Isn't your girlfriend waiting for you Harrington?" Robin says to Steve wanting him to leave.
"Shit yea. Forgot i had dinner at Nancys place tonight. I'll catch you two later!" He looks at the watch and realises he's running late for Nancys family dinner.
"Hopefully it's busy tonight" Robin prays. She hates it when it's quiet.
"Praying the time goes fast" You say reading Robins mind.
*a few hours later*
"Well thank god that's over! *while locking the door* Robin says. She puts the keys in her pockets. They each have a set in case someone has to go home early.
"That was such a mad rush holy shit" You exclaim. Friday nights are always your busiest night.
"Like how many people have movie dates on a friday night?" questioned Robin. Even though in Hawkins Friday nights are the most people date night.
"Apparently everyone Robin" You say matter of factly as the two of you make your way to the car park.
"Yea except you" She says nudging you. In fact you haven't been on a date ever since you met Eddie. You just couldn't get the cute, frizzy haired metal head out of your head.
"Wanna be my date Robin??" You ask jokingly nudging her right back.
"Oh i would love to but i'm meeting Vickie for a late night movie at the cinema" She apologises. She does actually look a bit sad but also super excited because she's finally going out with her crush.
"Oh what you too?" You say. Both Steve and Robin have girlfriends and Steve's girlfriend is your best friend Nancy! Small world.
