Just Hold On Okay?

Your ears ring from the sound and you hear more being fired. You feel Eddie let go of you he stumbles backward. You catch him as he falls and you see multiple wounds to his stomach and abdomen. His shirt getting soaked in his own blood. You quickly pull him onto your lap and he lets out a yelp in pain. You start to smooth out his hair away from his face so you can see him more clearly. Your heart breaking at what's just happened. You try to stay calm for him

"Hey hey, you're going to be fine okay?" You're nodding your head holding onto him. You were saying it more to convince yourself that he will be okay. You can't lose him. Not now. You've just got him back. He just came back. You don't know if he came for you but you didn't care. You had him. He had you in his arms. You've never felt safer than you did a few seconds ago when everything felt right. As you're talking to him you place your hand on his wounds putting pressure to try to stop the bleeding. He grunts slightly at the pressure and he grips your arm holding onto you tightly. You get your phone out with your other hand pressing it to your ear

"Go" you hear him croak out. He needs you to leave. To save yourself from that psychopath who's still holding the gun. He needs to know you're going to be safe. He needs you to be okay

"I'm not leaving you" You shake your head at him. Your phone is still pressed against your ear waiting on an answer. How could he ask you to leave when he's like this? You couldn't leave him. You refused to leave him. He just nods at you finally understanding that there's nothing he can say that will make you run. Finally, you get an answer on your phone

"Yes! Hi Billy, please come to Hawkins Pub as quickly as you can. My b-boyfriend has been hurt please...." You hang up the phone. You didn't know what else to call Eddie. You have feelings for him sure. But you two didn't even get the chance to say what you two were. Surely after that epic kiss you were something. Right?

Eddie looks at you surprised when you mentioned Billy's name. Especially at a time like this. You realized you never actually told him what Billy did for a living

"He's a doctor, he's going to help you. Okay? Just you need to look at me okay?" You're basically begging him to stay awake. He needs to stay awake. Eddie goes to hold your hand that previously had your phone. You lace your fingers with his gripping tight. You bring his hand to your lips and kiss the back of his hand

"I'm right here Eddie" You whisper to him

"I'm not leaving you. I'm right here....Look at me Eddie, don't you dare close those eyes of yours. You have to stay awake okay?" You caress his hand with your thumb, talking softly to him

Eddie lets go of your hand and moves it to your cheek, some tears accidentally spill from your eyes. He continues to move his hand until it's on the back of your neck. He gently tugs on you to bring you down to him. He continues to pull you down until your foreheads were resting against each other. You could feel each other's hot breath on your faces. His getting more and more shallow

"It's okay...I'll be...okay," He slowly gets out. A silent promise

You get your free hand and place it on his cheek. You slowly rub your thumbs against his skin

"We only just found each other Eds... You can't leave me like this" Your voice breaks out into sobs

"I won't... Y/N I -" Eddie doesn't get to finish his sentence as someone cuts him off

"Y/N!" Peter shrieks

Peter harshly grabs your arm and pulls you up from the ground away from Eddie. Eddie yelps from you getting ripped away. His eyes dart around trying to find you. He finds you getting held by Peter tightly. You're struggling to get away

"No! Let me go!" You cry out

"Not tonight love, you're going to take one last look at this pathetic waste of space and then I'm going to take you away" He draws out his sentence not hiding his disdain for the metal head laying before him

"Dont. Call me. Love" You snap. You refuse to believe that this is it. Eddie would find you once he's better. Or your friends and family. Surely they'd notice your absence

"Let.....Them.....Go" Eddie croaks out. He can't see you getting hurt and him not being able to do anything. He hates that he's down on the ground. He had you. He had you in his arms. In his grasp. Then you got ripped away from him

"Look at him... Gasping for air. Just like those other victims of mine" Peter snarls. He grips you tighter making you squirm trying to get away from him. But he was holding you too tightly. He held you tightly around the waist whilst holding the gun to your neck

"Goodbye now Eddie" Peter mocks. He has what he wants. You

"I'll find you" Eddie promises you. He tries getting up but he physically could not. He was in far too much pain

"Just hold on okay?" You whimper as Peter tightens his grip even more. Hearing you and Eddie talk to each other like this sickened him. You should be focusing on him. Not Eddie. He was the one you were meant to be with. Not Eddie

"I won't stop trying to get away from you" You stay firm. You're determined to get away. Make sure Eddie was okay. You couldn't lose him. You don't know what you'd do if he didn't make it....No he had to survive. There were too much-unspoken things between the two of you

The next thing you saw was darkness as you felt Peter hit you over the head. All Eddie could do was watch helplessly and in horror. Peter finds your phone and chucks it next to Eddie

"So you can't find us," Peter says to Eddie smiling

Peter throws you over his shoulder and walks towards his car. He places you in the backseat laying you down and heads to the driver's seat. Eddie hears the car start and listens as the car squeals away

Billy arrives not too long after you were kidnapped and notices a crowd of people surrounding Eddie. He sees a stranger kneeling down putting pressure on Eddie's wounds. The stranger comforts Eddie telling him help is coming and that he just needs to stay awake

"Move out of the way! I'm a doctor" Billy states who he is as he places the stretcher next to Eddie. There was a lot of blood. Eddie's shirt is practically soaked all the way through. Billy was concerned Eddie wouldn't make it to the hospital but he had to try. He didn't know you very long but he knew you were a valued friend he wanted to keep close. He let you go knowing you had feelings for someone else and here he was dying. You deserved happiness and love. Billy wanted to make sure Eddie survived. Billy knew you wouldn't take his loss well at all. He had to make sure that Eddie lived. So that he had the chance to be with you

"You must be Eddie. The lucky guy" Billy gives a soft smile and wink to Eddie

"You......Must....Be....Billy" Eddie rasps out. He remembers Billy now. It didn't work out between the two of you because Billy helped you realize you had feelings for someone else. Him. Billy helped you realize you had feelings for him

Eddie felt so tired and weak. He could still hear your voice telling him to stay awake. He thought he could just sleep for a little bit. get his energy back. So he gently closes his eyes needing to rest

"Hey Eddie, you have to stay awake man" He's worried that once Eddie falls asleep he wouldn't wake up again. He needed to get Eddie to the hospital. Now

"Shit" Billy mutters

"Right, I need someone to lift his legs," He asks the surrounding crowd. No one in particular

The stranger who helped before put his hand up. He listens to Billy's instructions and helps him get Eddie onto the stretcher

"Right, now I need you to carry that end to the ambulance over there. Got it?" Billy asks the stranger and he nods. With the stranger's help, Billy gets Eddie into the ambulance and quickly makes his way to Hawkins Hospital

"Hold on Eddie" Billy prays in the driver's seat
