Lipophocia is a clade of marine hyraxes that became big, blubbery things.
their looks aren't very pleasant, but they are pretty successful, as they're filling in an unoccupied niece for now. they are too slow to hunt on land, but are excellent swimmers in the water, with some species adapted for hunting medium to large sized piscivorous euvolaticans, which are also transitioning to become fully marine. there are also fish-eating forms of this clade, and the largest species can weigh up to 500 pounds, making them the second largest hyraxes so far.
