Chapter 17: The days

"Do you know what happened- to him?" I asked.

"I'm sorry what's your name again?" She asked me.

"Oh sorry. I'm Aero Carlton." I said shaking her hand.

"You can call me Dr. May. But to answer your question, we don't exactly know yet." she sighed. "Well what do you know?" I asked.

We were sitting in a couple of chairs in Bens hospital room near the window. "Let's see. We just found out who he is, which might help us more. When was the last one you saw him?" She asked. "A week ago, we were swimming at his house and he just- disappeared." I told her the truth.

Anything that could help Ben, I would do. "Do you at least know what's caused the coma?" I added curiously.

She looked down at her clipboard, and said, "Well normally comas can be caused by bad head injuries, drugs, accidents. But we are not aloud the examen him without his i.d, only do what was necessary.

Which we can do now. All we were able to do was keep him stable and monitor his vitals. So go get that foot fixed and I'll keep you updated. Which we will know a lot more in a while." she smiled at me.

I finally agreed, after a while of arguing. I just feel like I can leave him like this.

PARKERS POV

"What's up?" I said to Lila as her mouth fell open after reading something on her phone. "Ben's in a coma!" She exclaimed. Ben- isn't that the guy who's always with my sister? "Oh that's to bad." I said shoving popcorn in my mouth.

I earned a smack in the chest almost making me choke. "What?" I asked. "You know what." she said giving me a glare.

"I'm so sorry, how's this? Is Aero okay? Do we need to comfort her in anyway possible?" I said sarcastically. "Parker this is serious!" She yelled at me.

"I know I know. I'm sorry I just have more important things to worry about. Like our child?" I replied. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. "I'll be back." I whispered and then walked out of the theatre .

"Hello?" I spoke. "Hey man! Its Trevor!" "I'm hanging up now." I said. "No no wait! Im scared I did something bad. Like kill someone bad." I heard him say.

I turned the volume up loud to make sure I was hearing him clearly, but no one was in sight. "You killed someone!" I whispered into the phone.

"I know I know! I messed up! But I didn't mean to kill him, I just wanted to teach him a lesson." he said. "What am I supposed to do!?" I whispered.

"Well.. I need you to like find the body." "First of all who is it you killed?" I asked. "Well you see, i had a drink experience with his girlfriend a while ago, and he called me up and said things he shouldn't of, so I took matters into my own hands."

"Who is it Trevor!" I demanded.

I didn't hear anything for a while, but I finally heard him say, "Ben Adams, I think. But all I did was knock him around a little..."

Oh just joyful. "What! He's not dead he's just in a coma! And he's- dating my sister." I spat out quickly. "Oh thank god I can't be charged with murder!" I then abruptly hung up my phone, and sighed. I then slowly turned around to see Lila standing in front of me.

"Did I just hear what I think I heard!" She yelled.

"Shh! Calm down." I said going up to her. "Aero's not gonna believe this!" She said taking out her phone.

"What no!" I said taking her phone from her hands.

"Give it back!" She reached for it. "No! You can't tell her! You can't tell her anything." I begged her.

"But she's my best friend! Why can't I tell her?" She asked. I sighed looking to the floor.

What did I get myself into?

"Ben wasn't the one who called Trevor and yelled at him... it was me.. and I lied and told him I was Ben." I confessed.

"Parker! Why would you do an idiotic thing like that!"

"Well it doesn't matter now, but you can't tell her, or she'll hate me!" I begged more. I didn't want to ask her to do this, but I was desperate. "Fine. But you owe me. Big."
